Warm welcome on arrival, delightful room overlooking The Charles Bridge. Lovely hotel and excellent value for money in terms of comfort and location. Great views. Buffet breakfast also very good. Nothing at all. Everything was just perfect, from room , to staff, to the food.
Fantastic location, good staff, good breakfast. Everythings as you see in pictures. Highly recommended!!!
Wonderful location next to Charles Bridge. Spacious room. Breakfast was disappointing - could be improved.
We were treated well by the staff. They were very helpful in planning our touring for our short stay. The food was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable. The view was excellent. The breakfast buffet was tasty and generous.
location,my room was great, the free internet was great, jane(reception) was great the breakfast could have been better, and the bus service to airport (you should have one) my service did not show up to take me to the airport ,but the man at the reception got someone right a way which i am very happy about but i feel i was ripped off.
Excellent location, each morning when I woke up, I saw escort of the Lichtenstein president. Estonian and Lictenstein ambasies are behind the hotel. No elevator.
the location was very good. the hotel was clean and the room as well.
i thought its location could not be bettered for views or as a central piont for site seeing, the room was spacious and tastefully furnished
The Location was exactly what we were looking for; on the River, a great view of the Charles Bridge and in a quiet area. Breakfast was very good too. If there is any comment, it is only minor; our room suffered a little from noise from other parts of the hotel. Beds were excellent but could benefit from a double duvet in place of two single duvets for a double bed!
Great location. Nice room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast included.
large rooms excellent view and location very helpful staff historic building amazingly small bathroom
Location was FANTASTIC!! Staff was AMAZING!! Our King bed was actually two twins pushed together, and room was a bit small. Otherwise, a great place to stay!
nice hotel, good staff.
N/A We had a confirmation for booking two rooms, after traveling for 9 hours with children we got to the hotel and they told us that they do not have any reservations for us and the hotel is fully booked. Customer service was horrible, we were on the phone paying international roaming and being on hold to find out that they had found us a 2 star hotel with single bed's 30 minutes from Prague and told us everything comparable was sold out, we had to get a taxi and go to 6 different hotels before we were able to find a room and had to pay double the price.. I will never book through your service again. I will be leaving my feedback on every travel site I know.
Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff Breakfast a bit overpriced
The staff are very helpful and well-trained, providing excellent service. The room is very nice for its value, and the location is just perfect for everyone who goes to Prague for a leisure visit.
The best hotel I have stayed at for service, friendliness of staff and warmth of welcome. Despite excellent reviews, it actually exceeded exceptations. My wife and I were upgraded to Junior Suite on arrival and presented with a bottle of champagne in our room when we revealed she was celebrating a 'special' birthday. Nothing seemed too much trouble for staff at hotel and I would recommend it unreservedly for a short break in Prague. Wonderful and memorable stay in top-class surroundings. Will not hesitate to return to the Pachtuv Palace at some stage.
Location was perfect perfect!!! Great little restaurant for breakfast & mid day snacks!
Friendlyness of staff excellent, nut was let down on a confirmed booking, only for i checked on time we would never known it was not booked, Girl at reception forgot
the worst hotel i have ever been
Hospitable staff, and excellent location The hotel could do with a better breakfast room and new mattresses.
Phenomenal young pleasant attentive staff, superb location,
The most amazing hotel we have stayed In Nothing
change towels every 3rd and sheets every 6th day !!!!!!
Staff was friendly and heped us booked some shows; excellent location - within walking distance to tourist sites They are constructing the shaft for the elevators so you are awakened by noise at 830am and construction dust as you go down the staircase. I also do not like the additional charges when we checked out.
We liked the location of the hotel, the view over the roofs of Prague and the rooms in the suit. Breakfast was ok with choice of bread and cereals. Staff were nice and helpfull. It was being re-built at the time which meant dust, noise and no elevators. But we knew that beforehand and it was not very disturbing anyway. The kitchen was invaded by ants and the few cooking utensils that were there were visibly unclean although put in the cupboards. This meant we did not use the kitchen at all. The floors were not very clean either. Of course some fresh vegetables and/or fruits would have improved breakfast.
The hotel's position, in the heart of the old town was very convenient for all the attractions of Prague. The staff were very considerate and kind. The breakfast was good but lacked variety. Saving grace of the hotel was the restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff very freindly. The room 118 was constantly dusty and noisy due to the building work along the corridoor. The shower door was broken off it's rail which could pose a hazard to a child. No ani-slip mats were provided, making exiting the shower on to the tiled floor dangerous. The toilet door handle was missing leaving a sharp stump of steel protruding, again potentially dangerous for a child.
location was very good. The lift was being replaced and therefore we had to walk to our room on the 2nd floor which was difficult for my partner as he is Asmatic. The dust from the works was also a problem as the stair rail was so dirty as were the stairs. At time we had to step over wires going down the stairs..A disappointing stay as the main reason we chose this was because it listed that it had an elevator!
The location was good, the room was warm and clean. The room was far from what they show on internet. They had left an extra bed with a bear mattress in there what made it look even more loveless. There was a small kitchen but except fo two coffee cups and water glasses no kitchenware, not even a teaspoon. We had to ask for a water boiler. The staff in breakfast room was unfriendly, they took no notice of a guest entering and saying "good morning". The waiter in the restaurant was on the contrary over-motivated. All in all there seems to be a lack on professionality, a deficiency they could remove by working on it. No room service though this was annoucend in internet.
comfort rooms staff unfriendly, people still smoking in halls ! eugh !
We had a 4 bedroom room which is actually a whole flat with full kitchen, and big glassed terace with a dining table, we dough only slept in rooms. Hotel is 5 minutes of walk from astronomical clock (city center). Also there is parking garage in hotels basement accessible with elevator. WiFi was only available in the lobby but not in rooms!
Very good if you need a budget stay. Near to Charles bridge, old town square. Reception staffs could be more friendly with Asian tourists.
Good location. Easy walk to river and Old Town. Friendly helpful staff, all spoke excellent English. On site secure parking. Basic good size room and bathroom. ok breakfast. Room had odour of cigarettes despite being non-smoking.
There was no noise from the street outside, even though we were very near all the sights which were a couple of streets away. The breakfast was excellent and always topped up. The staff were extremly friendly and helpful on reception recommended a place to eat on our first night and sorted out a problem we had with our boarding passes. We can't say there was anything we didnt like about the hotel and would recommend it to friends and family
Is actually in downtow, easy to find, service great and for Europe, nice breakfast! For us everything was okay, no complains!
The location was very good. secured parking. nice rooms
central location helpful staff lack of dressing table for wife limited choice at breakfast
The hotel was very central and clean We would have liked Coffee/Tea making facilities in the room. The breakfast was very basic. (But good)
We thought the hotel was very central to all the attractions.
Staff kindness! Not enough water (sparkling or still) at the mini bar in hotel room.
Location of hotel excellent
nice room, great staff, convenient location too many stairs - hotel is in two separate buildings linked by corridors with lots of stairs
The room was amazing, the decoration of the hotel, the colors! Everything Well, except 3 receptionists that knew English, the rest of the staff weren't easy to speak to.
Very good location just near river Vltava and opposite the Castle
Great hotel, great location ( close to all main attractions, but on a silent side street), fantastic breakfast and welcoming staff. All what you need to make your stay in Prague very pleasant. Could be nice to have bath instead of shower.
Excellent central position. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. No
The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. I also liked the breakfast on offer and the comfort of the rooms.
friendly staff with a smile, excellent breakfast and good accomodation, I enjoyed the stay, would recommend this place. only minor detail, would expect higher bandwith speed from their offered WiFi.
Excellent location close to the river and Charles Bridge and an easy walk to Old Town Square. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff!
Room had excelent view of castle, close to all site seeing atractions very good location. Thay did not have enough cups for drinks at breakfast. Due to a flood in the basement the breakfast was poor our second day.
Staff friendliness No working AC in our Room and they provided Us with 3 fans that didnt help much.
The staff, location, breakfast/food quality and the adjacent restaurant - absolutely outstanding! The staff deserves particular mentioning: polite, fast, friendly. All those aspects went above 5 stars, in my opinion. The beds/mattresses are in need of replacement. It may have only been my personal preference, but our mattress was quite soft and the bed rather low to the ground - almost dorm style. Any hotel of $250+/night we've stayed at, had more substantial beds. Again, personal preference applies here and call it a simple, non deal breaking observation.
I have rarely met a more friendly and helpful hotel staff. Location is five minutes walk from the Charles Bridge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Leonardo. When we booked, I don't think we realized how close to everything we really were -- just steps to the Charles Bridge and minutes to the Old Town Square. The staff was more than accommodating and even packed us a breakfast when we had to take a 4 AM taxi. Would HIGHLY recommend. The bathrooms were a little small, but that was expected and didn't take away from the overall stay. That was our only complaint!
High standard of service in a sympathetically renovated building. Asian fusion a bit strange in Prague.
The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. We had a small problem with the room which was allocated to us and they immediately sorted the problem out for us, in a friendly and polite fashion. No, but as all the rooms don't have a bath, make sure you request a room with one, if that is what you want.
It was great. The staff was very nice and gave a feeling to be very welcome. There was nothing I did not like. I am very often in good hotels but mostly the difference is the friendlyness of the staff. Friendly staff is the result of very good management.
The design of the hotel and also the relax atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable. The staff was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The SPA is really really nice. And the food for room service or the restaurant was delicious.
The service was absolutely fantastic. Well run hotel I would also like to say that I have stayed all over the world in many hotels, and this is definitely one of the best! Nothing!!!
The location is perfect for walking to the centre and hystorical sites and shopping locations. The comfort of the room, sitting area and bathroom not up to par.
The location of the hotel is so special. it is in the middle of everything. There are three building having the same management of charles hotel. so, we found our selves not booking on the original charles and they shifted us to another building. The staff at checkout was so arogant and not helpful at all.
hotel was in a great location staff freindly hotel very clean and comfy would go back and will recomend
Great location, in between the charles castle and the charles bridge. Very accessible to all of the city. St.Nikolaus church 2 min away, plenty of shops, restaurants, supermarket nearby. Room was very spacious, tea/coffee provided for. Bath robes provided. some english channels available on tv. suite was very pleasant. free wifi. staff pleasant. baggage storage facilities, free use of pc and tea/coffee facilities in hotel lobby, which we were free to use after checkout, printed out boarding passes for us also. while the suite was lovely - we were located on the first floor, noise levels very loud during the night and early morning. would prefer to stay at back of hotel or maybe higher floor , as noise levels did rise throughout the night.
cleaned room N/A
The location, only minutes from the Charles bridge and lots of nice restaurants close by. Nothing.
cosy and quiet...! not having my own tea and coffee maker in my room
good location. helpful staff, very clean & comfortable, would recommend no
Hotel is very close charles bridge. Nothing
Well positioned for sightseeing, an elegant building with style Decor in need of update but not a big problem. Better shower arrangements would be useful
The most important is the place where the hotel is situated. At 50 m from Charles Bridge and very close to Castle is everything you can get in order to have a perfect day in Prague. Hitting was not satisfactory. In bathroom was very hot but in the room was not so good ambient. The most embarrassing thing is that you have to use the card to open the light and key for opening the door. Each time when you were leaving the room in the night you should have to take out he card and then find the locker to open the door..
Great location. Facilities mostly as expected. Wifi working without any problems. Breakfast selection was rather poor. Bathtub was rather small.
Location, breakfasts A little too noisy, and 3 flights of stairs with no elevator was a little burdensome.
The location was excellent, the view of "Charles Bridge" from our room was great, staff were extemely courteous & very helpful which made our stay very pleasant & enjoyable. N/A.
The reception desk was extremely helpful, rooms were charming
The hotel's location was excellent however we were put on the 4th floor and there was no lift. Also the room was in the attic. The above lack of lift and the being given a room in the attic.
The room, restaurant and halls were beautiful - like real old Prague Bathroom and shower are like in very cheap hotel. It is partly destroing the atmosphere of this hotel
Very nice building and room (deluxe double). Excellent location. Quiet. Good breakfast. Great staff. No dresser but enough space for luggage. Wifi did not reach inside the room at the end of the hallway.
Great position, walking distance to square, castle and metro station Lack of service, i.e. no in room tea making facility or room service to provide it, no lift (which we were aware of) but no porter service to carry bags to room. I consider this hotel to be 3 rather than a 4 star level.
Location was great-close to all sights. Rooms were spacious.
It was a traditional hotel with good dining and wine options and well positioned for visiting the tourist sites in Prague no
the room was beutiful
Personal is very friendly, design is awesome, very nice Gothic suite No, everything is great
The staff was very friendly, room was amazing - very clean and comfortable, great location.
Warm, welcoming, helpful staff; fascinating, sumptuous, luxurious and comfortable decor; quiet, safe location, convenient to the main bridge and city centre, but not on top of it.
Perfect location with excellent customer care. I love surprises and your hotel fulfilled mind and soul. Front desk Tasha was especially warm and helpful. Thank you so much. Perhaps you can offer coffee or tea packets in the room to enhance visitor's stay?
A beautiful hotel with great staff. Although it does not have all the amenities of a larger hotel, it is in a great location. It is close enough to everything but is still on a quiet street. It has a romantic feel to it. We were upgraded to a better room on arrival. We were enticed by the gothic room on the websites but the room they gave us was much larger and in a better location within the hotel. A great stay!
location - quiet - elegance - privacy - space. the entire experience was excellent and made all the difference in our stay in Prague.
the decor was good, it was gold and the dining room was very comfortable. I think the term suite was an exageration, It was a normal room with a kitchenette which had no cups or mugs in !
It was a good shock to find out the location of the hotel is truly right in the middle of the famous Karlova street right between the Charles Bridge and Old Town. Extremely cosy apartments also proved the promised top notch quality but what really made us speechless was astonishing view from the apartment's windows! Tiles of the roofs, old towers and Prague's main castle - it's all was there and it was unbelievably great! Room service was prefect also. highly recommended! Everything was just perfect and flawless!
Perfect location to get out and about.
Very center of the city. Good breackfast. Nice view to the center of the city from my studiou room. Kitchen very useful. Everything OK.
the location was great, and the design of the apartment was intresting. cable intrenet was kind of disadventage
The hotel staff was more than helpful. They were considerate and accomodative to all our requests. The room sizes were large and very spacious. Everything we needed was provided on request if not already there. The elavator is a bit creepy and we were lost when we entered the building since the reception is on the 1st floor and there were no signs to direct us there. But both these points did not interfere with our wonderful stay there.
We loved the charming rooms with leaded glass windows, a sitting room and large bathroom. Our view of the castle is best most beautiful view we have ever had from a hotel room. The u Pava was great. The breakfast was very nice too.
1.View from room-window on 3th flor- Hradčany; 2.NO lift - burner of fat czech cuisine; 3.Breakfast - nice selection of tea 4. Location, location, location - close to all attractions 1.View from the room-window on 1st floor- wall 2.NO lift - luggage challenge on spiral stairs; 3.Breakfast - constant lack of available clean plates, no vegetables, close to 10a.m. food is replenished slowly or at all 4. Internet chargeable
Nice location. Comfortable rooms.cheaper parking rate and availability than other hotels.
To repair hitting and sanitation of bathroom in №308. desing, kind treatment
Excellent location. Nice breakfast included in the room rate. But overall the hotel is too expensive considering the quality of the services offered. Staff very useless and unfriendly. We were received by a very rude man, actually the night guard, who did not speak any English. He refused to give us a parking permit although we had a reservation and it was not for free. We had to leave the car on a parking reserved for local people risking to get a fine. Next day we obtained a permit for 14 euro/day. Staff was again useless when asked why the pugs in the room are not working. We had to discover ourselves that all the plugs are linked to the light switchers and when turning off the light you actually cut off the current. The so called luxury room is actually a 3 stars hotel room with cheap furniture and ugly decorations meant to give a classic look. The outcome is in no way a luxury room
Great location, very friendly employees, great interior, nice bathroom Climatisation didn't work, window faced directly a wall with a very loud ventilation, not a single TV program worked, parking was expensive and 800 meters away from hotel
The view and location location and again location- one minute to the Carols Bridge and romantic part of Prague- Kampa. I really liked the way how they served tea- in a own teapot- really good idea and choice of teas. The carpet might have been cleaned more often, plus it might be a problem for a people with disabilities as there is no lift.
The day staff was exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was varied, plentiful, and tasty. The climb up to our rooms on the 3rd floor! I realize that if we had reserved the higher priced room, we would have had the benefit of the elevator. However, we would be quite breathless by the time we reached our floor. Please put a chair on each landing for us "elders", who might need to take a rest.
We enjoyed the location and the fabulous views of the Castle and cathedral and the very warm welcome. N A
It was ideally situated for the purpose of general shopping & sightseeing. Yes the 1st room we were given was very dark so we changed to another room which was on the 3rd floor 45 steps no lift, it was comfortable, and very nice.
Location was superb! Friendly staff, clean rooms and ok breakfast. Very good value for money. Uncomfortable beds.
The staff was really helpful, the hotel was in the perfect location, the breakfest was really good and the room was fair enough for the price! I have nothing to complain, only to thanks.
Excellent location and helpful, friendly staff
Great central location, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff.
I have been two times (in weekends in 10 days). The hospitality of reception is unbelievable. Markina, Zuzana and Indra. All of them excellent and very helpful. Markina prepared a timeline about metro and buses for airport transport and city trip. They really care the guests like a family. Zuzana called the Czech Airlines about my lost baggage and received it and the other day Indra preapred a packet for breakfast since my flight was very early.... A budget pension, furnished in old style. Squeaking floor. No soundproof walls. Breakfast ok, but don't expect luxury (bread, old toast bread, butter, sliced cheese, sliced ham, cornflakes, cake, tea, milk, coffee). Small tv set (5 cz channels, one de, one gb). The room was quite dark because of not sufficient lighting. Simple bathroom / shower. Very "budget" toilet paper ;-)
excellent location; friendly staff; room was basic but clean; breakfast was very good
The staff, the beds, and the breakfast were excellent. There was some street noise throughout the night (we were on the side facing the street) but closing the windows helped quiet things down. It was a very comfortable stay for the 5 of us (in 3 rooms).
The best location in town one can imagine! Just "round the corner" of the Charles Bridge and short walk to the Old Town Square. Small "family like" pension. Inner court can be nice during summer (but when it rains you will get wet when accessing your room). Room was warm during fall season. Friendly staff. Small but useful lift. Did I mention great location??? A budget pension, furnished in old style. Squeaking floor. No soundproof walls. Breakfast OK, but don't expect luxury (bread, old toast bread, butter, sliced cheese, sliced ham, cornflakes, cake, tea, milk, coffee). Small TV set (5 CZ channels, one DE, one GB). The room was quite dark because of not sufficient lighting. Simple bathroom / shower. Very "budget" toilet paper ;-)
convenience, met the new owner who was very keen to assist
Great little hotel just a couple minutes from Charles Bridge and all the attractions.
Great location- smack in the middle of the old city. Very helpful staff- looked up train times for me.
