The hotel is well located for the stadium where I was working and had sufficient parking. Reception staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. I like it when a hotel has take away cups for coffee especially when the room doesn’t have coffee facilities.
My room smelt damp and the bathroom smelt of dirty drains. It was quite awful. We attempted to call reception but it was engaged both times so we decided to sleep as we arrived late and were very tired. For a posh hotel like this I think these sort of issues shouldn’t happen. It’s something that even most basic hotels manage to get right. I complained in the morning and was offered a bottle of water from the minibar as compensation.
