The restaurant staff were really lovely and really looked after us, particularly at breakfast. The rooms (bar the security issue) are nice and spacious with their own plunge pools. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job cleaning each day.
Didnt get the all inclusive package (which was an additional $390 a day for 2 people), the costs of food and drinks were extremely high which forced us to have to go out a lot.I dont mind paying $200 for a meal when I feel I am getting good value but this distinctly felt like we were being ripped off. The resort is small and located nextdoor to a very large party resort where the music was extremely loud in the evenings and you could hear it in your room, their solution to this is to provide ear plugs for you beside the bed. There was also an issue with a peeping Tom, I was in my room lying on the bed when I noticed the top of someone's head at the window sill, when I stood up and went over he stood up and ran off through a gap in the fence. Thankfully this was on my last day as I don't think I would have stayed on in the resort as it was so unsettling. Two other couples also reported the same, and I found reviews dating back to 2017 stating this has happened to others. Very disappointing the resort has not treated this more seriously and improved security.

Unique, where the jungle meets the sea. Best service and happiest, friendliest staff we have encountered anywhere. Magnificent villa and nothing was too much trouble
WiFi in the villas is not great and the TV sets need upgrading

GoodApr 20196.7
We've traveled to Mexico during April 4-8, 2019. The best part of our experience was the villa. Though, we had to ask to move us on the second day as the first home was super noisy due to the hotel next door. We had to look for Edgar to confirm the move - I'd expect to be looked for... The second villa was fantastic - clean and very comfortable. We were offered a free dinner after we've complained about the noise, bad service and cold coffee - it was a great gesture, thank you!
A lot of things, for the money we've paid (we like comfort and we know what we want): 1. we were asked to pay for our breakfast - even though it was included - not a biggie but unpleasant. 2. service during breakfast was slow and coffee was cold - after I officially complained, all got fantastic and quick. However, for the class of hotel it is, this should not be happening. Ever. 3. the beach is horrible - we were not able to swim as it has stones and rocks everywhere at the shore line - simply impossible. Should we known it is this way - I'd have chosen Tulum instead. 4. next door (literally, no separation) is cheap noisy hotel with a disco at nights and then - a public beach. Hmm... No privacy... Not sure this is what anyone wanted next to the upscale hotel... 5. shocking prices for food and beverages. I should stress - the quality is amazing. However, a small glass of juice is $8, the cheapest glass of wine is $15... Shall I continue? We live in DC and go to good restaurants - such prices don't exist... this is ridiculous for Mexico.

The Listing on booking and Property website mentioned that there is a huge stretch of amazing beach. We have booked the property to enjoy the beach but were surprised to find out that the beach in un-usable and rocky. This is miss leading to customers and false advertising. Booking.com should also clarify this on their listing!
