Staff was great
Small rooms and the elevators were always busy
No surprise in a holiday inn that provides all modern comfort and usual amenities. Location is great for walking around and for the access to the railway station. Potato cakes served at breakfast were severely undercooked.
It was very convenient for us. The Metro was close by. Lots of places to eat close by. Remodeling being done on our floor. Dirty.
The hotel is in a great location near The Luxembourg Gardens, which are great on a nice day. There are many restaurants nearby and the staff is really helpful.
Great location. The room was clean and well equipped Very small room for two persons
Everything but the lack of parking No parking available
The location is good, 200 m far from the underground stattion of Edgar. The area is full of bar and restaurant where is possible to have the "petit dejeuner", the breakfast for 5/6 euros. The lights in the room where not enought, it was difficult to see inside my bag! The breakfast is crazily expensive (21 euros/head!) When we arrived they gave us a room with 2 bads instead of 1 double bad, and i had to ask for it and they gave us a new room.
We only stayed one night but got the family suite because we were traveling with out 18 yo son - our room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. Wish we had gone to Paris for a longer stay - next trip we'll book this hotel again. The location was perfect and right by a major metro line. Many good cafes close by - it was just really wonderful!! We didn't stay long enough to discover Amy negatives
The location is great for both good food locally, sight-seeing and a short hop on the metro (station opposite) to shopping, museums, galleries and a direct link to gare du nord. For the rate, this was a good value hotel. The great location also meant traffic noise and the room was too hot, opening the window let the noise in.
Location, helpful staff breakfast was included, but low-end
The helpful english speaking staff. Welcoming reception. The spotty WiFi service. Our room was on the 5th floor.
It was a perfect boutique hotel experience - lovely rooms and staff went out of their way to assist. Location is ideal for tucked away gourmet French restaurants and the best shopping. Too short!
While there were hairs from previous guests in the bathroom, the tile and stainless steel was sparkling and the tub was good for soaking. Small room, small in-room safe, no place for baggage, hairs in linens and in bathroom.
The staff was exceptional. They made a great effort to make sure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. Not a thing. I will go back again.
Really good staff. small size. Location. Rather cramped. Leaking pipe.
Large room with excellent full bath. The hotel is convenient to Gare Montparnasse, St germain des pres. The hotel itself is lovely, old style. Will return. Everything hunky dory.
Location was ideal, and great breakfast. Room was quiet. Except for the Barman, the staff were excellent. The room was pretty basic, TV channels useless for non French speakers, and getting a drink in the bar nearly impossible, either because nobody was there, or it had closed early!
Loved the location, and the modern decor the hotel has. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, and this is most noticeable with respect to the toilet (toilet only, as it is separate to the bathroom), it is smaller than a closet! If you come to Paris, you really shouldn't be planning to stay too long in your room, but there still should be more space.
The Ferrandi Hotel is very well situated in the sixth district of Paris for visits to major attractions (museums, shoppping, gardens, restaurants) as well as being in a district with considerable charm. I also appreciated the availability of free wifi in the rooms. It is in need of a refurbishment, as some features were a bit threadbare.
Would definitely return No
breakfast was 17 euros and werent told of this until checking out at 12 o'clock.
