Astoria Palace Hotel

Good breakfast, spatious room. Classical hotel chain conditions. Pretty far from center but close to a bus station that can take you there.

Very noisy and ineffective AC, room was kind of dated. Also location is not excellent, quite a long walk to center and area really dirty, lots of garbage on the street.

Convenient car park

Mosquitos in the room. Complained but still present. Had to buy spray which solved the problem

Most staff were helpful but not all. Staff helped with parking.

Mosquitoes in the room. No kettle supplied, only in superior room and not clear this was an option on booking.

Friendly and helpful staff

Although most items inside room was working, Property is old and likely would need refurbishment soon. The room door did not work and could not open although the staff claimed it worked. No heating in room was provided. Could hear road traffic from inside room although traffic noise died somewhat late at night.
