Seen better days
Great common areas. Friendly staff. Cool decor. Hip environment all around.
The rooms are not $350 or more a night kinda rooms. They’ve just let them get worn out over the years. I don’t mind that they are small. I had an exposed wall in the closet, my shower curtains were old and a bit dirty. The rooms need some sprucing up for sure.
Old and Tired former Modern Hotel. Another Philp Starkdisappointment
Hotel Lobby is nice
Hotel has not had adecúate maintenance . Basic things such as fixing dings in the walls , painting corners of walls are not being done. Room is too small for price paid.Hiding poor maintenance with low lighting on the hallways is not enough.Another Philippe Starck Design Hotel Disapointment
BEAUTIFUL DECOR, COMFORTABLE BEDS, GREAT FOOD,GREAT LOCATION. WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO ANYTHING IN THE CITY.
BATHROOM WAS TINY
Any hotel in the neighbourhood would be a better choice.
Nice central location
Tiny rooms. Inconsiderate staff (With the acceptation of the manager) Bed not as advertised. Insect infestation. Poorly maintained facilities.
Loud hotel. Dated facilities. Nothing is very clean. Limited dining options.
it's like sleeping in a shoebox with only one window and very small gives claustrpfobia sleep there not recommended
huge party thursday night hudson hosted kept me up till past 2am!
If I had known the hudson would book that party, i would not have stayed there. I spoke with the staff who said it was a one off event. Can't believe I was not told that music would be blaring into my room until past 1am!!! I will not ever stay there again - cool place, but can't risk nights like this when I am in NYC on business.
Way to hot in the rooms and aircondition makes too much noise so actually could not be on at night.
Cozy Clean Comfortable Trendy
Rooms were small but you can see that from the photos online. Two mirrors on decoration make the smallness not suffocating. Very clean and comfortable stay.
The hotel was beautiful inside veryour. The feel was cozy.
The room I stayed in was right next to the elevator and the water machine. I heard people all night long using elevators and water. Asked for another roI'm was told nothing available. There is a 30 dollar charge per night and I don't know what it's for. Will not be staying there again.
Location for the price was great
Bathrooms not the cleanest and tiny
staff - "see through" of tasks rooms un-maintained
