The room size and confort. The hotel decor and amenities.
Room service was good. Breakfast downstairs was good but a bit pricy. Hotel stafff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a little to small.
My wife, my daughter and I are quite satisfied with the hotel which was reflected in my responses above. It's good that there is a pool (we didn't have to time to use it :) ) It's a pretty good advantage comparing to many other hotels in Montreal. I am not sure what's the difference between "anything you did not like" (that should be here) and "complain" (that shouldn't be here). The only thing we didn't like were 3 tiny dumplings called "Four Seasons" for practically 8 dollars. Maybe it's a touristic pricing - I doubt we'll order them next time. But both soups were excellent. So my warmest wishes to the hotel :) !
Clean neat room Long walk to one tiny elevator.
Entire second floor stank. Dirt on the walls. Overall disgusting.
I like everything with one exception. We had to stay an extra day and the price increased from $120 to $165. Otherwise the room is spacious, parking is free and the room is very clean.
Free Internet, fitness room, free parking Location too far from centre, old and worn furnishing (standard room)
Free parking, spacious room Noisy airco
I will say it in few words. We felt welcome at the hotel
The sliding wooden screen in place of curtains makes for great sleep! There is no good food within walking distance, so if you don't have a car you are pretty much confined to the hotel restaurant, which is a bit boring.
I adored the clean modern rooms, that were extremely comfortable. The gym and sauna were well equipped and very well kept. I must say the Bar/lounge was stunning, and the carrot cake there, must have been the best I've ever had. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.
The Chinese restuarant. Staff were helpful Location - Dreadful . Rooms were dated, need refurb. A/C was so noisy it was difficult to sleep.(January 2010).b Lighting in room was poor - making it difficult to work.
near to downtown montreal not enough parking space.
Very close to my final destination. Early breakfast.
everything was just perfect
I like the staff. No hot water. Breakfast items ran out. Coffee ( had to use instant).no yogurt 2 out of 3 mornings No boiled eggs2 days
convenience to the places I had to go to, very friendly and flexible staff The breakfast was pretty bad, quality of croissants 2, not enough hot food, no cream cheese coffee was a 1
We arrived late (after midnight). Hotel staff was on duty and there were no problems in checking in.
It was a convenient location and the hotel assigned us two rooms which were adjacent and tucked away in a private corner of the hotel.
Location. We had two rooms. The smoking room was not clean and bathroom was in a need of repair. Also there was no ventilation in bathrooms.
good location, service and price is reasonable
After service is very bad. I have a doubt about the invoicing process and after several emails to the hotel they don't answer.
There was one girl at reception who was very kind and helpful to us - were it not for her advice we would not have been able to get downtown and enjoy our weekend
Room was clean and spacious with a walk in closet, we got a studio, in a nice location. 3/4 staff I spoke with were great. Overall good value. Person who checked is in could not be bothered. Parking garage was full so we had to park in a lot some ways away for $10/night. No room to load or unload the car.
The room was clean. The bathroom had a nice shower. Parking was free. The pub you can walk to across the street was good. Not the best place we've stayed, but also not the worst. We expected something a little fancy and unique judging by the photos, but we ended up in a pretty standard, regular room. We were unable to upgrade to a suite once at the hotel because we booked online thru hotels.com. Someone scratched graffiti on the TV screen with a key or something. You could not lift the toilet sit without taking the toilet paper off off the holder that was too close (my hubby hated that.) Breakfast was only bagels & orange juice. It's about $20 cab ride to the action in the city.
Hotel was quite cheap, room charges are some what same as hostels but you get your own room so it's good but Internet was slow and you have to pay for that. City maps and tour details are not available.
I Liked the fact that it was easy access to the subway and only a few mins walk to one of a main street to go for something quick to eat and do a little shopping for food and snacks Just that the bed was to hard and there was no washroom in the room and no microwave
I liked the freedom it offered. There was no daily cleaning so I felt more secure and I did not have to pack my things away. The whole place was not crowded even in early August. They charged extra for the wireless connection.
Only the view It is a sudents' residence and we will not recommend it to families.
It is so quit, I did not like the thing where there is no room service.the hotel should have this service .and sharing washing room was good but but the shower at the same with toilette it is not that good,
price beds, two adults cannot sleep together, pull out bed from underneath single bed
The least expensive accommodation I could find in city. Well these are concrete dorm rooms that they rent out during slow periods...rooms are clean, but very basic...bathroom down the hall, no air conditioning...location not close to downtown, so a schlepp home every night...a double room does not mean two beds, it means a mattress a little larger, but you better know your roommate pretty well as you will be on top of each other if you try to get 2 people in these rooms They rate this place 3 stars...but 3 stars amongst other college housing, not other HOTELS...you get what you pay for and this was a cheap option.
Good location, close to the subway. Good rate. Friendly staff. There is a small fridge in the room. Room is a bit hot during the summer.
It's on the university campus, there is a sport-centre nearby, which you can use for 8 CAD It is actually cheap, but the rooms are rented for student during the semesters. You are actually sorry for the students that they have to live at this conditions. The name hotel does not suits this place. Please a bit more money for an actual hotel. I have really low standards and during our trip we stayed at hostels etc, but this was below any standards.
Good place if ur looking for cheap and close access to highway Sheets had a stain on them room smelt really bad and was non smoking Overpaid could have gone to a days inn near airport
The location was perfect for me , and the staffs were friendly , the price was reasonable , free parking available. The furniture was too old
