Superb breakfast, one of the best we ever had on our trips round the world ! Excellent place for relaxing holiday. NIce that they have separately pool area for those who wish to have it quiet, and another for families with kids. Spa had good quality treatments Staff little bit arrogant attitude (reception & breakfast waiters) seldom smiling , except kitchen staff on the breakfast and housekeepers who were always greeting with smile.
standard of hotel facilities, location beach and a number of resturants nearby no late check out, reception not as helpful as they could have been, rooms not well noise insulated (e.g. could hear people above walking around and neighbours showee etc.)
Staff friendliness, courtesy, efficiency and competence. Nothing
The Staff were excellent The rooms could have been cleaner
location and staff. Bed rooms a bit dated. Need to be modernised badly. Dressing table all stained. Shower door needed to be looked at. Towels need to be replaced with new one. Need 4 towels. One for shower in the evening and one for shower in the morning. Badly needed a dressing gown which is the norm., in 5 star hotels.
we liked the size of the hotel because even with the amount of guests staying there it didnt feel crowded at all. The two swimming pools on either side of the hotel ensured guests were well spread out which allowed a relaxed atmosphere throughout. There was always space for people who enjoy sunbathing by the pool and new towels available twice a day. Breakfast was great, couldnt say anything bad about it. Fresh juice.....with Cava!, eggs and omelettes cooked to order, wide range of choices to suit all needs, the list goes on. Super! Maybe the staff could be a little more attentive to guests on arrival to make them feel comfortable and at ease in their new surroundings, some staff better than others.Takes a while to find your way around so more information or little map would be helpful. Also for younger couples there isnt much of a nightlife in the hotel, place is dead after 11 o clock.
Everything Some might find it quiet, with an older clientele but we didn't mind.
the construction of the hotel is very unusal but nice to watch and to be in. food for breakfast in the main restaurant was not very good, small insects/ants were moving in bathroom, no doors for the toilets, turkish bath in spa was not working for many days.
I particularly liked the location of the hotel overlooking the sea & its wonderful swimming pools. Also it is all low-rise with most bedrooms overlooking the sea.
Nice reception, lousy and dark rooms without view. Freezing pool, although heated babypool. Buffet dinner good, but no alternative restaurants nearby. Seems abandoned. See above
We enjoyed the option on entertainment and facilities on the ground a lot. Location was excellent and hotel staff was helpful. The rooms were in good conditions and always clean.
As always this hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Buffet not as good as usual as running out of food and not topped up quick enough. Also new was the fact that they are now charging guests for orange juice at breakfast (€2 for 200ml up wards) Strange for a hotel of this quality.
It was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The service was fantastic; everything was spotless and the location and choice of pools were very good indeed. Staying here, felt like a big treatl You have to be up at 7.30am to choose a sun lounger! To be fair, the hotel tries to prevent this situation, however people still ignore the rules.
Junior suites good for families. Excellent pool and longer space. Buffet was good. Upgrading to on site restaurants was even better ! Beautiful grounds.Good nightly entertainment. Understaffed reception area. V poor gym equipment..no cardio just weights.
I like the building-colonial style, huge territory, palm garden is very nice. I did not like about the hotel, but about guests, who absolutely did not hear the hotel's requests like-please don't book the sun beds. But it happened every day.
this hotel has a very good location, is very comfortable ,the food is very good very spacious no problem with seating around the pools . I think that the nightly entertainment should be based indoors during the Winter months .
The Costa Meloneras provides holiday and relaxation pure from the first day on. Everything is well organized, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large with a nice design and warm colours. The stunning pool area combined with a great garden is phantasic. Best place ever to calm down. Love it.
I thought the location was good Yhe check in took to long. not enough I fo on arrival
Staff were so nice facilitating and pleasant, especially to our son.Food buffet breakfast had everything you might fancy for breakfast, pancakes with chocolate sauce was my fav. we hadn't booked full board but ate alot at night in the hotel as it was good quality, variety and value. The hotel was convenient to the beech and other restaurants. It was very child friendly with a kids disco every nigth that my 18 month old really enjoyed. I felt the hotel was relaxing, the spa was devine. The hotel was spotless. Highly recommended. No kettle in the room, it would have been nice to be able to have a cuppa and also for heating adn washing my one year old's bottles...i had to pay 12 euro for the kettle for the week. Usually a kettle is standard in a four star hotel, as is an iron. You should be made aware from the start of the holiday that spa treatments need to be booked two days in advance, but these are all small things! it was really lovely
The pool and all the iland no
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were well kept and cleaned daily. The pool area was always cleaned and offered sufficient space for sunbathing. The pool could have been heated as it was too cold to use. Overall a good standard of accommodation. Axelbeach restaurant was underused and offered only a very basic menu of burgers, club sandwich and a couple of salads. Breakast was adequate with the buffet choice available. One disappointing aspect was the pool bar closing at 6pm. Given the gay clientele, more could have been done after 6pm to make the axelbeach more sociable by providing guests the opportunity to mix and get to know each other. It would have been the ideal place to meet before heading out for the night - topless barmen? DJ?
I had heard your hotel was the best on the island and after staying with you i can belive that.Would certainly reccomend to other people.
It is quiet, pools are very nice
A great hotel with 5 swimming pools, perfect for families with young kids and delicious food. Very children friendly staff and facilities.
great kindness of staff, calm, many alternatives for children, ideal for families, large but with a peculiar style.
There is some live entertainment every night. The band playing is quite good, the rest of it (shows) could only appeal to people of simple taste. Rooms are extremely loud, impossible to sleep in due to the noise from the hallway. Furniture in the room is ok, but looks cheap and shaggy. Internet slow and ridiculously expensive (2EUR/10mins).
The hotel staff was great, the room was very spacious, the swimming pool areas were very relaxing! Perfect hotel to relax! The cleaning of the hotel room was deficient in some of the days. The resident band of the hotel wasn´t so good. The singer couldnt sing in english.
The food was great and there was great room around the pools no problem getting a bed and even when it was busy it was nice and quite
Lopesan Gran Hotel Villa del Conde is a well managed hotel with a high service level. The staff is professional and friendly, always being attentive towards the guests to make their stay well pleased. The hotel is situated on a A-location directly at the Atlantic ocean and the boulevard; it has different building styles and looks like a small village. There are several beautiful swimming pools and sun terraces. The gardens are also beautiful and well attended. Central is the plaza with live music and entertainment in the evenings. The hotel has two buffet restaurants and two al la care restaurants where you can enjoy a various selection of fine, fresh food. We recommend this hotel to others. non.
The room was very nice, with nice sea views. There is a very relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. The food could have been better for a 5 star hotel
The grounds and the pools were lovely. The room was fairly basic in comfort and fittings and there were no movies available. The bathroom was nice.
Hotel staff very helpful. Location is great!
Efficient staff for check in. all staff very polite and helpful. Room spacious and clean. Food very good Mattress was far too soft, a plank, submitted immediately after request, helped somewhat, but we truly think it should be a consideration for the management to change all mattresses for harder ones!
good location in Melonaeras, nice swimming pools, plenty of restaurants and bars, very quiet in the nighttime the minibar was not serviced, the reception never answered the phone, the hotel is not finished and the construction work is very loud in the morning, poor breakfast, no parking available at the hotel only in the area- on the street, which is very crowded. Just a few elevators and some rooms are al little bit far from the lobby. The safe in the room is charged per day - a 5* hotel should have it included. I did not like the lavaoar right next to the room entrance, so every body entering your room could see your tooth brush, shaver....right in front of the door. the first feeling entering the room is more like a locker-room than a 5* hotel room. Not all the pools are heated - we found only 2 .
The staff were very friendly and well organised. The hotel itself is very clean and They have wireless internet in the lobby area only, and although you can use numerous independent networks for a fee to be able to use the internet in your room. I would suggest they set up there own.
The fodd was the best i've eaten in my entire life, definetely go all-inclusive or you will be paying 5 euro a drink.
Good location close to the beach and centre of Playa del Ingles. Excellent food with show kitchen. Friendly staff. Big room with air conditioning. Can recommend for value for money! Partly old building, dirty corridors, our room in the "cellar" = reception at 4th floor, our room at first floor facing parking, hilly location.
The relaxing atmosphere That guests were put together with other guests on tables joined together which made one ill at ease and that the hotel was geared more towards German or Dutch guests.
The room, facilities & hotel staff were superb; We arrived at 1am, and Reception had thoughtfully provided a cold meal as we'd missed dinner. Depending on your preferences, you may find the following good or bad - The hotel wasn't too busy when we stayed there (October half-term) and there were very few young couples or children - Most guests were mature German couples. However, the atmosphere was pleasant and staff spoke good English. Daytime and evening entertainment was average, but you were close to lots of bars for a livelier evening! Smoking was permitted on the room balconies and in parts of the bar + outside public areas. Food was good, with plenty of choice and half board was excellent value. Our balcony only got the evening sun and was partly shaded by trees in the gardens. However, we didn't bother asking to be moved as we actually liked the shade & privacy when we wanted to cool off from the sun terraces. Probably two-thirds of the balconies get all-day sun, most of the rest get evening sun.
Everyting was perfekt. Some sound from the road came in under the door, perheps som sealing her.
Restaurant quality, staff courtesy.
Great hotel excellent standards of housekeeping great staff
The stuff was very nice. There was a lot of noise and they cheated on us. We had to stay the first day in a different hotel because they where overbooked. We had a lot of problems in the beginning but then it was ok.
location was the only useful advantage for me The hotel did not suit me as a solo traveller and certainly did not represent value for money. For a 4* hotel, i found the hotel sodisappointing with a very drab restaurant, no room service, no facility to get ice, laundry taking 36hrs and not on sat/sun - Iam sure it must suit many others as their chosen hotel, but it was not for me
It's location and value for money. There were no english speaking news or sports channels available on the room t.v.. The bar does not have a'no smoking zone' so those of us who do not smoke were unable to enjoy a drink there.
I enjoyed the proximity to the Yumbo Center and to beaches. The hotel was clean and Unfortunately, if a person is handicapped or has problems negotiating stairs, the Neptuno is not a good hotel for him.
Very nice hotel, everything worked as expected, and no problems. All facilities for a good summer holiday available.
Good food and facilities The hotel was freezing cold and as a result we barely slept any night we were there.
Central location and friendly staff The food in the restaurant in particular the warm dishes could be better, less choices but better quality would be preferred (too fat)
suite very comfortable, private and plenty space. enjoyed walk to beach. great staff. desserts at dinner and breakfast choice very repetitive. otherwise food fantastic.
Cleaned room, wonderful pool area, situation! Tables in restaurant should be numbered or shown at the door where to sit because I had problems as a single person to get a table!! Young waitress make a big number when I was sitting in 4 chair table!! Disappointed about that but I gave feedback promptly!!
Hotell staff in restaurant very friendly and profesional. Animators are great, specially Ivana, Adam, Kristinaand Chorche. Resort inside is nice and well serviced. Reservation of desk before dinner.
Very helpful staff. Excellent food and great location.
Staff was helpful Dampness was penetrating the rooms causing mildew smell even though the chambermaid did the cleaning properly and used detergent to vanish the smell.
good swimming pools, near beach, best island zone, good kids animation
Great tropical garden with bungalows and swimming pools.Short walk to the beach and dunes. The dinner was OK but not great.
Location and size of the rooms. Friendliness of the staff, in particular the staff who worked the breakfast shift.
food, facilities, park rounded the hotel
Atmosphere was good and quite lively during the day but peaceful at night.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was also good and varied. We stayed in a triple room but I felt the room could have been bigger for 3 people.
nothing at all!!!! it was the worst hotel i ever stayed in! the staff were nasty and heartless and not a bit helpful. the cockroaches were so bad i found one on my head while i was sleeping, the kitchen is not fully equipped, please do not stay in this hotel you will not enjoy it!! pool loungers s uncomfortable!
It wasn't packed with people, had a nice bar and swimming pool area. I loved the parrots they got. Many of the swimming pool chairs were broken and not replaced with a new ones. Also I'd appreciate an information that it is a gey friendly hotel as there were hardly no straight couples/singles or even families. I don't mind geys at all as long as they're not too close as it was in Los Salmones.
Close to all amenities - beach etc. Beds very uncomfortable. Noise level from motorway all night long. Need double glazed windows. Had requested specific room - did not receive - got complete opposite !!!!
Convienence to Beach.Quiet. Beds were of poor quality, and needs upgrading.
The staff was verry frendly and helpfull. Nice uotdoor area. Many bars and pubs around the hotel. The beds are to hard. We had to use the carpets under the sheets.
Hotel is located very near to a nice beach. The breakfast was good. The wardtobe smelled terribly after some rotten stuff. The towels were changed only once a five days (!). The floor was not clean and the rubbish bin could be handled better by the hotel staff.
Good location for transport links around the island and close to shops/bars etc. Facilities are the bare minimum and would certainly not take up the all inclusive option.Design of the buildings not good for a balcony in the sun as the majority are in shadow.
Relaxed atmosphere, so it was a good springboard for whatever!
Price, bar, internet and pool Rooms need renovation, but ok for a short stay
location and seawiev, Avis office in walking distance. Other people did seem to like to hang around in the pool bar from morning to midnight but it was never too loud. a small discomfort to park the car a bit far away because the hotel is "surrounded" by pedestrial zone
Nothing I didn't like the hotel at all, coz the staff completely were not flexible and they treated us in a very bad way, also they didn't accept the comments in our reservation, and the room was not ok at all, and the room wasn't the one we saw in photos or what we reserved.
We enjoyed meeting the other guest that stayed at this hotel. Housekeepers were incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel staff were extremely rude during check in, did not explain any of the hotel's policies. Our room was not ready by the time of check in, had no towels, when calling the front desk they stated they would send some up, waited over 2 hours, and just found a housekeeper who was kind enough to give us towels for our room. The food was awful, so we resorted to eating salad for 7 nights. The wait staff would come by and take your plates before you were even finished eating. Dinner drinks were not included as it the room was sold to us, and they even charged 2euro for a carafe of tap water.
The best part of hotel was the sea view from hotel, I also updated trip advisor of our stay Reception area can get very overcrowded as very small area
It is is a very good value for money hotel. Good food and Clean rooms all you need
very good choice! perfect cuisine end location!
nice and quiet location but still walking distance from the playa del ingles night spots. swimming pool area was nice and breakfast was ok. staff at reception were rude, we didnt feel welcomed at all. the first room that we stayed in smelled like dead people, the second room they gave us the toilet didnt flush and they never came to fix it. most of the people staying at the hotel are old spanish and german, staff dont like english speaking guests. water in the pool is way too cold for swimming. we didnt enjoy our stay at all and do not recommend this place to anyone
We liked quick service, that is quick check-in and check-out. The fair price for hotel room.
Great experience, close to beach.
Location is great. Not too close to the main centre of Playa del Ingles - but only a short stroll down the seafront boulevard. All facilities were very clean and the breakfast selection is excellent.
Good situation, view on the sea from bed-room.Seventh floor.Welcome excellent at the reception and at the restaurant. Only a problem, the carpet in the floors very threadbare .
An excellent hotel, one of the best 5 stars I ever stayed in, outstanding service and an absolutely perfect breakfast menu. I liked the hotel and will be returning!
We liked the fact it was very quiet and relaxing. The hotel had a strict policy on not being able to pre-book sun loungers, however, the pool man was very happy to "save" loungers for guests who didn't use the sunbeds until late into the afternoon! That said, during our stay, there were plenty of beds available as the hotel was not booked to capacity.
