Decor was a little sombre & dark in the corridors of the more modern side but the traditional side was great

This is a beautiful property with a huge staff
Despite their large number of staff and a wonderful property the constant inattention to details adversely affected my stay. A constant ‘we will deal with this later ‘ meant that no one accepted responsibility. Even a car service provided by the hotel was inexcusably late - maintenance issues in rooms were neglected and spoiled milk served at breakfast. Paying for quality presumes a quality delivered and I was most disappointed.
