Great place to stay.
Conveniently located. Suites spacious, clean and well equipped.
Great location big rooms good...
The girl at the reception was GREAT. The man the opposite
Curtain in front of the bed was taken away (due to corona ???) Too hard mattresses, really bad sleep No mirrors No lounge area really
Good
Cannot rate as with COVID situation was not normal- no buffet with variety as should have been. But in circumstances cannot fault.
Pillows in the room were uncomfortable
Surely our choice for future...
staff super gentle and ready to satisfy any and all queries. Position of the hotel cannot be better, right on the river and a walk away from the city centre. Easy to reach by car with parking underground.
Very good
pillows were very uncomfortable.
Novotel Suite is an excellent...
The location is really good insofar as it's right in the centre of the city. It has a range of shops, restaurants, bars and of course,La Malagueta. My room was excellent. It's as good, if not better, than some of the 5 star hotels in which I've stayed in both Europe and the USA. The staff members whom I came across were 100% excellent.
There was nothing that I didn't like.If you're looking for a complaint you're not going to find it from me!!!
Great confortable hotel in the...
The room was very confortable. Air conditioning system was great. Big bathroom with both tub and a great shower system. Both beds (a queen size and a sofa-bed) were very confortable. Overall a great room. Also it is located very close to the historic center of Málaga. Restaurants and coffee shops are within walking distance. There is a paid parking right next to the hotel (with direct access to the guest rooms with a keycard). The hotel offers a discount at this parking to its guests.
The pet fee seemed a little higher than in most places (20 euros per night, compared to an average of 10 euros that we had been paying on other properties)
Good customer service friendly
Hotel good and clean the only problem dosnt have parking your have to pay extra 94 euros for a week I think should be free for customers
Not free parking
Very good
The room is very specious, lots of space to walk about. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
I didn’t like the breakfast, no variety of selections. For the 7 days we spent, they had the same selection of breakfast, no other options to choose from.
Totally recommend this hotel
Loved the amazing staff that helped us with our problems and took amazing care of us!
I stayed at the hotel for two nights as a solo traveller and it was really nice, the rooms were clean and big, staff were always helpful and the hotel was in a central location. I would recommend this hotel.
The only downside of this hotel were the flat pillows and uncomfortable bed.

Location was ideal, only a 5 min walk from the Old Town. Hotel was excellent, clean and friendly
No complaints whatsoever, ideal location,...
Location was ideal, only a 5 min walk from the Old Town. Hotel was excellent, clean and friendly
Relaxed environment, helpful staff. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to the city centre, Port and beach.
The bed was uncomfortable and so were the pillows.
Friendly staff and good location in the center.
The sofa in the room and the curtains around the bed.
The bathroom was okish
the room very nice
breakfast maybe a little bit poor
location and place very nice
the room very nice
breakfast maybe a little bit poor
Located right in the center of the city, very clean and quiet. Breakfast is good, a lot of space in the canteen. A lot of commercial centers are right by side, walking distance to the railway station and bus terminal is about 10 minutes, airport express train final stop is in 5 minutes walking. Microwave oven in the room.
Nothing to claim in general, some small detailes as poorly attached water faucet in the toilet.
I loved the stay from start to finish. I messaged the hotel prior to arrival advising of my partners birthday, when we got to our room they added a little something extra.. staff very helpful!
Rooms were quite hot
Spacious rooms and great staff
Good locations,good staff,modern rooms
Small breakfast saloon
Good location, breakfast. Very spacious, clean and comfortable room
Excellent location, large rooms, well equipped rooms.
Small gym.
location is ok
I booked a parking space, they confirmed, and when I arrived, they said it is full and I need to find elsewhere!!! In the center of Malaga?!?!?!
Location.
Breakfast - very little choice, no free tables. Really poor breakfast! Smell at the reception and breakfast room was strange.
The Family Suite was the perfect room for our stay...the ideal size with a great design and layout! We were also pleasantly surprised by the large selection offered for breakfast - enjoyed by all of us. The staff were all very friendly and happy to assist.
Hotel location good
Air conditioning didn't work properly
Excellent location. Staff are lovely.
Beds are not comfortable.
Location was great
Shower size. Comfort of bed
Lifts were busy so had to wait quite a while. Door card entry system was awkward to use - did not always work
Nice, romantic touch to the sleeping area.
Found the rest of the room claustrophobic. Lack of space to hang up clothes or putting away luggage.
Very clean ;separate toilet and bathroom: tea/coffee making facilities; quiet room
Easy and comfortable room facilities
A lot of works were being undertake in that area so noise was a issue.

Location was great, close to city centre and main attractions. Spacious room- suite The staff were helpful and pleasant. Good selection at breakfast .
None
I didn't eat because the cost of the room was very high and I didn't feel like spending more money on a breakfast which I think should be jncluded
As above
Novotel Suites is quite comfortable and located only a very short walk away from the old town centre of Malaga and the metro station. We liked the spacious room and bathroom, especially the shower cubicle was nice.
Although the room was spacious it wasn't designed with customers/guests in mind. Also, the kitchenette area is a bit useless if cutlery is not present. Some shelves, tables and lamps could be organised differently to make the room feel more spacious and usable. WiFi was quite slow and the TV didn't have an option to switch subtitles on - it would be useful as not all guests speak fluent Spanish and a vast majority of TV channels were Spanish only. The worst however was the mattress - it was extremely hard. I tend to like tough mattresses but this one was like sleeping on the floor. My partner who can't sleep on hard mattresses had to spent nights on the sofa. Finally, the reception area of the hotel is not very inviting to spend time there and do some laptop work - it's quite cold, dark and lacks soft furnishing. All in all, the price was a bit expensive for the comfort offered in this hotel and we won't be returning.
Basic hotel, Basic location, everything basic and nothing extraordinary
Please have more variety in breakfast, it is just very very less
The staff, location, the room. And is near the old town too (historic centre).
Friendly staff location and nice clean quite room
Breakfast was only ok basic and cold food that was not replenish in time . Not much food all in all disappointed with food
Nicely located next to the historical center, beach is close-by as are the main train stations.
Location, design, convenience, style, simplicity
Nothing
Great location, just a short walk from the historic centre. Friendly, helpful staff and very spacious suites for the price paid
The room was extremely convenient with smartly designed zoning achieved with different lights, curtains and modular elements. It had a bathroom with shower and a bath, with a separate toilet. The kitchen included a sink, microwave and small size fridge.
there was a persistent smell of aerosol in the lobby probably sprayed to cover some bad odor.
Location was great, near El Corte Ingles. The room was spacious with good facilities.
Very nice breakfest - especially tea selection and granola station. Rooms are big with a kitchen annexe. Near the centre but also very quiet. No outside noise in the room. Very clean.
Lifts are extremely slow.
Pretty bad for a Novotel. Would not recommend.
Very old. Could not get a glass of wine. Food quality was appealing . Hairdryer not working....
The breakfast was perfect, the hotel was just right for walking to anywhere we needed to go, so overall we loved the hotel. Thank you
only one minor thing which never mattered to us The fridge never worked
location - very close to the centre and also to the metro Suite - separate living area with a large sofa is fantastic Very quiet room Friendly staff The price is acceptable
A minor point is that the reception area is a bit small as compared to the average four-star hotels.
The rooms are well designed and spacious
The room size was bigger than I was expecting. The breakfast choice was fantastic and plentiful. Unusually we never heard any noise from other guests - not even other room doors slamming.
Nothing!
Convenient location. Has parking at the hotel. Nice shower and bath.
Rooms are smaller than normal suites and space is oddly organised. Flooring is hard wearing plastic weave which is not very nice. No proper cups or glasses, just a couple of small paper ones. No proper facilities for a normal suite.
Room was very large with comfy bed and very nice shower facility. Staff was absolutely professional and kind. I would recommend this hotel for business trip or even the stay with family. Hotel has got absolutely super location with 5 minutes walk to train (to airport) and 5 minutes walk to the center.
Overwhelming scent of flowers in lobby. Difficulty with using key card on elevators. Airplane size toilet separate from rest of bathroom. Depressing exterior.
Nice big room with a separate space for work ..loved it
Cant really say
The Hotel was very clean, you can smell the property from the entrance. The rooms are so clean and well arranged
Nothing
I like modern style in the room
Super stay close to city centre lovely rooms
No complaints all good
Size and comfort of room
Breakfast should be included in the price of the room even if they charge more for the room. The breakfast cost was almost 20% of the cost of the room. Hotel indicates that the snack bar is available 24 hours but did not seem to be an option for breakfast.
Great Central location. Everything in walking distance. Room was spacious and shower was fantastic. Tea and coffee facilities nice extra touch
Not a massive choice of breakfast
Great location, very friendly staff, clean & comfortable.
Near city center, friendly welcoming staff and cooperative in every things we asking them.
Rooms space isn’t big enough and facilities is very limited.
The location is fairly good and close to all amenities, walking distance to the centre of Malaga, although many taxis are available to drive you around. The hotel has a free taxi call system which is pretty efficient. The room was spacious with comfortable bedding for two people. The room design theme is kept simple but it is neat and tidy. Breakfast was copious and had a fairly wide range of products.
It somehow lacks that little extra attention or detail. You do not get any products in the bathroom, while I understand we ought to be more environmentally friendly, for that price, it is nice to get the whole deal. It does not have that luxury feeling. The view from our bedroom was nasty, just overlooking the back of buildings, we did not open the curtains.
Everything was perfect. we had a fantastic stay in Malaga.
Coming back, we love our stay
Nice location, close to the El Corte Ingles. Good underground parking.
The room not as clean and neat as the previous time we stayed here, the staff a bit off.
We love the place! Staffs are nice and friendly. They gave our daughters mini Polar bears when we arrived. Love that the hotel is kid friendly too! Room have enough space for our 2strollers and one big open luggage. We requested a free late check out until 2pm and didn’t had any problems at all! Would stay again! Also, the most soundproofed room we’ve had in Spain! I would have slept through the night if we don’t have a newborn with us.
-A/C needs to be check in room! We had A/C vents by the door and by our bed, but the one by our bed weren’t working! The room has an awkward shape so air had problem circulating! So half of the room were cold but the half part where our bed was hot. Luckily we are prepared for these kind of problem coz we have encountered them before. We brought our own standing fan from home! Having a toddler and a 2month old baby, we can’t risk having a hot room these summer months! -Also, every Sunday, they have a free late check out, be aware tho. They said in their website that they offer it free until 5pm but that’s not true. The lady in the lobby said that people were asking for that there is a mistake. She said she can only offer us late check out until 2pm and if we wanted until 5pm we needed to pay the fee €25. -We think the breakfast is a bit overpriced so we did not get it and ate outside instead.
Nothing really
A lot I didn’t like. Service, cleanliness was a big issue. Kitchenette was dirty and the hot water pot was totally unsafe and dangerous. Parking was a disaster. I paid for parking before getting to my car as the machine is upstairs. I went to my car loaded my staff, got my bearings together and it took about 10 minutes for me to get out. When I put my paid ticket in the gate wouldn’t open and attended said I was 10 minutes over than what I had paid for and charged me an additional 0.65 cents. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never use them again
Everything worked, immaculate, great location
Nothing!
Loved it clean comfortable and awesome location.
We didnt like the pillows
Nice booked good location
Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful and willing. Brilliant location. Overall an extremely impressive stay!
Reception was a little small
Close to old town and well thought out rooms.
Location, clean rooms, bathroom also very clean
Room view of flat roof, car park public and expensive No bar or food in the hotel

Modern facilities and close to the harbour and old town. An underground garage made for convenient parking.
Nothing
New Novotel, and it shows! Room (521) was a delight, very well designed and well appointed. Lovely big walk in shower, and a full bathtub that we sadly didn't have time to use. Good lighting, good shelves, a separate loo so we could save time in the morning. There was a sofa bed, table and 2 chairs, a small kitchenette area (discreetly hidden behind a sliding door), and an all round good vibe. The room was quiet and there was very little noise from the street below. Very convenient location to walk into the old town: we ate dinner at THE BEST (IMHO) restaurant in Malaga: La Luz de Candela, a pleasant 15 min walk across the dry Guadalmedina river and through a trendy/grungy/hipster area full of students and eateries.
Only reason the check in experience was not 5/5 was that it was quite awkward and tricky finding reception from the underground parking! Lol! Signs pointed us in the wrong direction. Then we got through a door and were in a claustrophobic corridor, and there were very few signs, and what there was, was small. Not enough signage in lift, etc. Similarly, signage for heading up the room, and the lift to come down (sounds like the same one, but actually, there is a lift that we found first, and we got in it and pressed buttons and just stood there waiting for something to happen, and it turns out it was a service lift. Why not signpost that so stupid guests like us don't make prats of ourselves? :D Also, an overpowering artificial fragrance in the reception (like, catching in the back of my throat) was unpleasant and unexpected. It was there both days, so not a fleeting accident.
Breakfast Spanish omelet
Shower only sprayed one way
Location. Cleanliness. Quietness. Small kitchen facilities. Very helpful pleasant staff.
There were no minus issues for me.
The manager went out if his way The airline damaged my mobility scooter He arranged all the repair in Spanish. I just had to take it there Wonderful service
Ideal location, large rooms, nice staff
Everything. Excellent location close to Mercado and all touristy attractions.
Liked everything.
Lovely rooms with plenty of space and great in room facilities.
Nothing ok Ng negative to report.
Staff was very friendly! Rooms were tidy to high standards. Location of the hotel is excellent.
Nothing would cross my mind.
We were staying only one night in Novotel Suites in Malaga. It was very easy to reach from Malaga Airport by train and short walk. The room was very spacious with separate bedroom and large bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. The room was very clean with a lot of amenities. The center of Malaga was within ten minutes’ walk and staff person recommended us a perfect place for lunch. We had very early departure in the morning so we decided to purchase some food for our breakfast. I found a very nice bakery within five minute of walking from hotel. It was a perfect place for a short stay in Malaga.
Nothing!
comfortable place and very nice staff, in additional the room is so big and the bath room is so nice.
nothing
Close to center Friendly staff Quiet Huge rooms
The room was ample and had plenty of space for my husband, four year old and myself. We appreciated that they converted the couch into a bed for our daughter and provided her with a small gift of crayons and coloring pages. The shower had great pressure and the rainfall version as well. The location was close to the historic center and the central market, which both are quite nice.
It was a small nuisance having to insert the key into the elevator on the way up and down, but really not a big deal at all. Also, the layout of our room was a little awkward with the toilet being removed from the bathroom and close to the entrance of the room, but also not a big deal.
Staff were all excellent
The rooms in this hotel are incredible! very futuristic with sliding doors and coffee tables that turn into a dining table with the press of a button. The shower was very relaxing and spacious. The hotel is right next to the historic center of Malaga and the commercial area that surrounds el Corte Ingles. Easy access to bus and subway.
The WC was on the other side of the room...far away from the bedroom, I found it a bit odd.
The Hotel has nice interior and good breakfast. It’s located close to city centre and shopping centre. The staff in the reception was helpful.
We disliked that we needed to ask for everything in reception (accessories, third towels, third bed sheets, pillows, filters). I had booked 2 rooms for 3 persons, but none of the rooms was ready for 3 persons. We had booked 4 rooms in total, and only got one room key-card per room, which didn’t work properly, especially when the card was needed when using the elevator. Everything seemed very compressed and small.
Location.Really close to the train station.Rooms are well equipped. Very good value.
Brilliant location, Nice room but with a slightly strange lay out. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely helpful staff. Good bathroom with loads of hot water.Fridge and Microwave were a bonus. Big issue was the air conditioning which to be honest does not work. The other upset was the noise. On Friday and Saturday night there was a night club or bar very close by that pumped out really loud music that went on until the early hours. It was very hard to get a good nights sleep
Noisy nightclub nearby and air conditioning that does not work. Lifts were temperamental with the key cards often failing to gain access. We would not stay here again due to the noise.
Lovely atmosphere the staff are very nice Excellent fresh breakfast. The room was quite large very much similar to a 5 star hotel
The rooms were too hot and no air conditioning so we had to open the window which was a little noisy
top breakfast, top location to explore the city. very friendly staff.
Modern suite in walking distance to historic center.
Building is quite minimalist looking among the historic facades.
The location for me was excellent. The breakfast was good even if we use it only once,
We needed an extra room but they charged us double the price. We did not like it but there was not choice at 10 PM.
