RINCÓN SHORT STAY
Fantastic location on seafront . Spotlessly clean and great attention to COVID rules. Great breakfast with lovely fresh coffee and omelette
Hotel is old fashioned and needs updating
Superb
Excellent position
Fantastic location
Great location right on the beach. We had a room overlooking the sea which was bright and spacious. The hotel have bikes to hire so we did this on one day. Due to a family emergency we had to depart early and the staff were very understanding.
There were 5 mosquitos in the room when we got there - not the fault of the hotel but annoying.
Location and cleanliness
Exceptional
Location and cleanliness
It is outside Málaga, but very easy to travel into Málaga centre on the bus which stops outside the hotel and only costs 1.70€ each way. It is situated next to the beach. There are many shops and restaurants near by. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. It was great to sit on the balcony watching the boats on the water and people on the beach and in the sea.

Fabulous location, couldn't have been nearer the beach! View from our balcony was gorgeous - superb sunsets. Food very good, lots of choice at breakfast. We had an a la carte meal in the restaurant one evening, and it was extremely good. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. so much better than the huge, faceless hotels in major resorts. This was homely, comfortable and super friendly - guests as well as staff. Excellent value for money. Thank you so much.

Good location and view.
The room was cramped and smaller than the last time. The bed covers were squeaky and did not stay on at night.
Pleasant

Comfortable simplicity in a perfect location. Every member of staff without exception was kind and helpful.
Great location. Great balcony with the view to the beach. Good beds. Renovated bathroom. Quiet. Good WiFi. Big double room. Near to bakery, to cafeteria las conchas ( coffee with milk 1.5 euro) and to several restaurants. On the front was the busstop to the bus 160 that takes you to Malaga (for 1.70 euro).
Old furniture and old interior. No pool and no gym.
Easy access. On the seafront. Good staff
The view was amazing. Worth paying a little bit extra for the sea view.
Location Friendly staff Food for dinner Breakfast excellent Cleanliness Room with a sea view wonderful
Absolutely nothing!
Clean, wonderful location, comfortable beds.
The seaview room was to die for(even though it rained for 2 days of our 3 night stay) The hotel is being up graded but really not much disturbance. Good selection at beakfast. For us it was tge seaviews and the staff that made our stay We will return.
Seaviews and staff
Everything - location, staff, room, breakfast ——
There is NOTHING to dislike
Reception staff very helpful. Cleaning staff excellent.
English style breakfast products cold. Would be better made to order ie fried eggs. Other breakfast products were fine. Car parking is sometimes difficult.
This boutique hotel is right on the beach. I faced the ocean so I was able to watch the sun rise every morning. All the buildings are no more than 6-8 stories high so No high rises. The beach boulevard is right outside the door and you can walk forever. Very family oriented with many generations walking together. I always felt safe out walking by myself.
To really enjoy this area it would be best to have a handle on basic Spanish which I don’t. Most menus are only in Spanish and the Wok dishes (stir fry’s) use a lot of cabbage and very salty.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Good selection at breakfast & varied choices at dinner.
Just perfect in front of the sea
Very convenient to catch bus to Malaga
Cold eggs for breakfast Otherwise great breakfast
The whole experience was excellent. efficient, friendly staff, good available meal times. efficient room cleaning.
No jam to have with toast !
Location is very good as directly on the beach.
The rooms on the side of the street are very noisy, even when the windows are shut. Corridors with wooden floor and no sound proofing on the room doors are a problem. You are likely to get woken by other guests even if they are not very noisy. The facilities are clean but a bit tired and basic.
didn't try the breakfast
very noisy air-conditioning
Hotel Situated on the beach and room with. sea view and balcony
Hotel bar wasn’t nice Could do with comfy sofas
Perfect location right on the beach, worth paying the extra for the sea view and being located at the back of the hotel looking out onto the sea, as the rooms at the front face a busy road.
All of it location great, comfortable room great staff and very clean
The only downfall is breakfast isn't hot, but would not stop me going back
Location next to beach.
Staff behind bar were moody slamming down drinks . Breakfast was very limited . The juice was watered down and the hot breakfast was cold.
ecxellend sercice
time for cleaning
The sea view from the room was exceptionally good, really fantastic The direct access to the beach and beach promenade The sun bed service offered The free car park
Breakfast was very standard and a bit limited Furniture of the rooms a bit tired
Great location.
Parking problematic.
Hotel was excellent. Comfortable, located right on the beach and amazing value for money. Sea view room upgrade was very reasonable and worth every penny and lovely balcony to enjoy it. (Fair size - enough space for a table and two chairs. Perfect for a sundown beer :-) ) Huge choice at breakfast. Every type of breakfast provided - continental, cereals, pastries, hot cooked, cold meats. And the restaurant had indoor and outdoor tables, meaning we could enjoy the sun and sea air. Excellent extras too - beach towels provided at no charge, sun beds right in front of the hotel for only 4 Euros! The hotel is surrounded by lots of bars and excellent restaurants, meaning no long walks back to the hotel at night. Cannot recommend enough.
Hard to find any fault. The main lighting in the room could have been a bit brighter, but that is all.
Shower head didn't work properly. The personal didn't like that we were 2 younger guys (both 19) so we got a lot of weird looks and when we left they didn't even ask how our stay was. The bathroom was overall messy and not the best, not even a lock on the door. They didn't wash the cups you got in the hotel room.
Location, very friendly receptionist when checking in.
Very little, everything was lovely.
The rooms very spacious and the view was perfect!!!
Huge terrace with stunning ocean views. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. Only downside was noise from the lift at night.
Lift noisy, unfortunately.
The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and had good english. We were sad to be leaving this morning but no doubt we will be back.
Nothing.
Excellent location, comfortable, relaxed, pleasant staff - especially our room cleaner. Spacious room and bathroom with walk-in shower. Great view from fifth floor.
Intermittent wi-fi which would be a nuisance to anyone needing a reliable internet connection.
Location good. Did not take breakfast.
Nothing
Beds are comfy, sea view is beautiful room was basic but roomy
Breakfast expensive for what it is, we didn’t pay to have breakfast but decided to one morning.
Food was ok and service was very good with all staff being polite and helpful
My aircon in my room did not work and I did mention this to reception on 2 occasions but nothing was done about it, that’s the only downside to my stay and when I paid my bill in full no offer of a discount was even mentioned or apology for aircon not working
good, but could be much better...at least variety of vegetables very poor.
Great beach location, very nicely maintained hotel in keeping with its original 60's / 70's styling. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking in front of the hotel for about 10 cars (when available)
We were in the smaller twin room with sea view which seemed to get warm quickly, not helped by the mini bar producing heat and the air conditioning being a little tame (no settings to increase air flow). Balcony was also on the small side, I presume the 3-4 bedded rooms have the larger balconies.
The location is good and stafs are helpful
Great location, felt comfortable and at home! Also gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on arrival for our anniversary which added to our experience.

Every thing was great made my stay really good.
Nothing not to like
The views and space.
Great Hotel with amazing sea view rooms. spacious and worth every penny
Great location (near the beach)
Staff was ok... sometimes appeared bothered by questions we had (and we didn’t have very many).
We have been here several times now and it is a great location. We like the seaview, the breakfast and the location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Value for money! We will certainly be back :-)
It should be possible to book parking in advance. The hotel has both a parking cellar and outdoor parking, so this should be possible. For a four star hotel we would not expect the water in toilet running and the toilet seat loose.
Second time we have stayed here, great position right in the centre of the resort. Views from the beech side rooms were amazing and worth paying extra. There is limited free parking but you have to hand in your car keys if you use this as they need to move them around to allow other parking.
Not about what we did not like more about what could be improved. Would like coffee and tea facilities in the rooms. But apart from this a great hotel.
very basic
Bathroom very tired, sink not clean and water not draining away. A smell emanating from the sink.
rincon de la victoria ,is an ideal holiday place .close to Malaga ,and with easy access to many cities.
I was happy with everything.
Location! Overlooking the beach. Lovely balcony with furniture - ideal suntrap.
Great location. Good breakfast.
Location near beech and restaurants. Good breakfast. Very clean hotel. Excellent valuer for money. Parking at hotel
Just a bit old-fashioned. Perhaps breakfast starting at 7
Great location, very much a Spanish resort. Don’t expect English breakfast and lots of bars. It’s sardines on the beach and lots of good Spanish restaurants. Staff very friendly.
A few of the rooms are very small. Really only for one. Make sure you don’t get one of these. You have to pay an extra €10 per night for a sea view, it’s worth it. The sound of waves breaking on the beach or noisy traffic. A sun bed on the beach is €4 per day. The extra costs are annoying. My flight was leaving near midnight but had to check out at noon. No facilities to shower before we left. Not a four star as I would describe one.
Friendly staff and very polite
Plenty of choice for breakfast and all fresh. Dinner menue was not great and with all the restaurants on the prom with great value and choice it was hard not to stroll and pick one on an evening, and so we did not go for evening dinner. Staff very friendly. Location perfect, I would promote or advertise more on walking and cycling tracks as this was an added bonus to the fab beach. Ideal for people with walking or mobility probllems which was most unusual to find, not that we required it but I noticed that all was very accessable and easy for those with difficulties.
Our holiday was perfect EXCEPT for one little thing, Right at the end we had no shower facility or room to change before heading home. We checked out as required before 12.00 but we were not flying until midnight and had to travel home without proper shower. Could the Hotel not change one of the toilets down stairs to a shower rooom this would enhance our next stay which we hope to be in September or October.
Location. All round fantastic experience.
Nothing!
Lovely location, away from the usual tourist tat found west of Malaga. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful beach outside the back of the hotel, with lovely walks.
I was in my room one afternoon, changing, and a member of staff just walked in without knocking on the door, to "check the mini bar". When he told me what he wanted, I explained I hadn't purchased anything from the mini bar. All staff in hotels should knock on the door of occupied rooms before entering.
Beautiful view from balcony, good breakfast(fresh crispy bread rolls was my favorite!!) Staff very helpfull and friendly. Rooms always clean and tidy.
Could be add kettle and iron to the rooms to make life easy
This well managed hotel appears to be a classic 1970s design so don't expect any spa treatments, pool or gymnasium, but it's location is perfect. All that separates the hotel from a long and wide clean beach is a promenade and a cycle-way; ideal for families. Bikes can be hired from many locations with easy safe cycling for miles in either direction. A bus service from outside the hotel runs frequently into Malaga. There are many places to eat and if you like fish you are in heaven, we ate at a different restaurant every day.
The only thing that I can fault, particularly if staying for a long period, is the breakfast selection that I found a little monotonous after 14 days.
Parking in front
Bar staff friendly. Drink prices cheap. Right on the beach.
Facing beach would be better
Staff were wonderful especially the man on reception very friendly and helpful.
Weather wasn't good
The balcony overlooking the beach. Cleaners every day.
Noisy elevator right next to room. Fridge not very cold.
Nice beach front location
Parking was difficult to find on busy street. Noisy at night from street activity.
Friendly reception staff.Rooms cleaned daily, large room and balcony.
A sea view would have been nice and a kettle.
Big rooms great staff, exelent breakfast, great location.Priced at less than half similar Hotels in Malaga. A 20 minutes bus ride to malaga center
Everything
Nothing
The breakfast was so varied. And the staff were so pleasant and helpful. A smile every morning. And evening. Makes such a difference. We truly enjoyed our stay. Esta la vista. We will be back.
Just maybe have a little more information in the booklet in room. Such as bus timetable. Recommendations also.everything else was fabulous.
By the beach. Friendliness & Helpfulness of the staff. Family owned Spanish hotel. Don't expect English papers or Information in English. Rincon de la Victoria isn't like Marbella or Benidorm.
Cooked breakfasts were a bit cold at times. Lack of indoor swimming pool.
Position on the beach is perfect
Rooms a little dated, though they working on it
The amazing sea view
Room 515 was so noisy and small.it wad adjacent to the engine of the lift. The beds were hard and uncomfortable.
The bed was comfortable ,staff are nice .
The hotel is very dated ,the aircon unit very old i had to ring reception yo use it and send someone up. Tv remote difficult yo use needs replacing . Wifi failed to work after 6 attempts i gave up.
Friendliness of staff, and for that matter of everybody we met in Rincon, they all seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. Food was waiter service, haven't seen that for 20 years, we do like buffets but the food was very good, hot with a fair choice. Could have lunch or dinner, both were off the same menu. The free parking system was good, too. Lots of good public transport. Lively little town with lots of shops and bar/restaurants.
Our room got the sun all day and got really hot. I don't like hot bedrooms. It needed a ceiling fan, then it would have been OK. Large furniture created an obstacle course. Blankets not duvets is a bit dated. NO entertainment or room with music, at night there was nothing unless you played cards. (It was Christmas). Also children playing on the Paseo past midnight were very noisy,
Go for a seaview room the balcony and view def a highlight for me.
Not clear on what to do if you do want to eat at hotel as we did room only.
loved the location, very local and some nicelocal independentt shops:)
Weather...it was lashing rain when I arrived :0)
Comfort of the beds, the ocean view. The coffee shop and pastry shops across the road were great for a quick snack every morning to have on the balcony. Also, the bus into Malaga stops and picks up right outside the hotel, 1.70€ one way and 20 mins your in.
From an Irish point only small things, like no kettle facility in the room, no welcome binder with information on the area, of what would be recommended and finally, no tv controls in the room.
Beautiful shower.so easy to use even for people with reduced mobility.three handrails.
Reception staff could have been more amiable.
Clean. Comfortable. Good facilities.
WiFi was bad. When I queried I was told they have a small connection. If they advertise it it should serve its purpose as that is a major consideration to me when I’m selecting a hotel.
Excellent value for money, great location. A little dated, however that was reflected in the price.
Great views, easy to get to, central.
Rooms are very old more 2* hotel
Location was excellent view from balcony beach side was fantastic
Poor breakfast No pool
It ticks all the boxes great location good restaurants with in walking distance breakfast was good you can eat as much or a little as you like and we will return soon
Great location surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars. And of course, the sea on your doorstep!
The only negative point was the way the bar was closed at 11.55pm. No problem with the time but I expect more than "The bar is closed, here's your bill!" Apart from that, everything else was fine.
everything was 10 out10
Large room with balcony facing the ocean.
Sea view, great location. Clean.
Bed wasn’t very comfortable
The staff & service was fantastic, there was walk about security checks in communal areas which was reassuring. Very clean restaurant and comfortably clean communal areas, great seating & ...
Some TLC in the room, dusty air con unit, bathroom needs attention, crack in hand basin, no sharpe bits. The taps need to be decaled as a lot of build up. General house keeping checks, winter time ...
Good location, very small rooms
Location is good
Rooms are very small, bed is very uncomfortable.
