Value for money Thin walls between rooms and the smell of the kitchen
price, easy to get to center, friendly staff it is quite a noisy place
Classical and old style Breakfast
The location is good and is only about fifteen minutes walking from Plaza Mayor. The surrounding neighborhood has a lot of bars and stores. The beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable--the floor is a more comfortable bed than the actual bed. When we inquired at the front desk, reception rudely said that the mattresses are changed every two years and there is nothing they can do. There were no other rooms available. The room is in desperate need of updates. The restaurant that is a part of the hotel is HORRIBLE. We ordered drinks at the bar. One of our drinks sat at the bar even though the bartender said the server would bring the drink to the table. We had to get the drink. The sandwiches we ordered were cold--even though they were to be hot. The bread was overcooked. The steak was overcooked--likely re-heated. Disgusting. For a three star hotel, this is unacceptable. A hostel would have been a better choice...even if it meant sharing a room with ten people. We will not stay again.
the location, the staff were very helpful
Location in the city and near the subway was good. Male staff were very friendly, eager to help. The decor is terribly outdated. The traffic noise was very bad, even with the window closed (and I was on the top - 6th - floor).
comfortable, good location
The walls are very thin. I could hear the person in the room next to mine snoring and when people would open/close doors, closets, etc.
Location, cleanliness, staff were very kind Rooms are small, showers are very small, walls are a bit thin, if you have an interior room there is no view at all.
Is is situated close to all the turist attractions in Madrid and we did no use the metro even though it is just across the Hotel. Some staff were more friendly than others, and there was not may smiles or "God Morning or God Evening".
Excellent location, clean, friendly and price is fair With free wifi
We thought the bathroom was very spacious and clean. It was in a very nice neighborhood with good transportation, but not in the city center.
Staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms were clean.
personel verry helpfull ,location exellent ,metro &train station in front of hotel ,verry clean room.
there is not question about it, the hotel has a unique location that nobody can beat, it was unbelievable the metro station is right in, fabulous!!!! well, i could say, at the beginning i didn't like the glass table that was in the middle of the pathway of the room but later i realized it was useful in order to put my baggage on it, it worked.
Breakfast They pretended that they cleaned the room.
breakfast was good and staff were helpful , metro was right at the front door of the hotel. it was a good 5/6 miles from the main central of madrid , so when the metro finished it was hard to find a taxi and cost about 10 euro.
everything ran smoothly
It was nice and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and understanding inspite of language barrier. We will certainly recommend the hotel to all our friends. Not as such
the Metro Piramides is in front of the hotel. noisy..you can hear everything from outside
Nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Very good location directly at metro/train station. Nice restaurants in the surrounding and quite near to the city center. Defininetly recommended for the price and services. Internet access is not free and 8€ for 45 min is a shame.
