Cute hotel, very well taken care of. Recently refurbished (wooden floors throughout), very clean, nice staff. Modern air conditioning in the room. Excellent location, in the heart of the city center (just off of Gran Via, 10 meters from Metro station). Tiny room, a little bit noisy in the hall. No blankets, but I'm sure they can provide them upon request.
Great personnel, amazing bed and pillows and the whole hotel is laminated, which is perfect for people with allergies.
It was a great experience. I was skeptical about this kind of hotel-hostal, however, my sister and I were really surprised. Great and helpful staff, affordable price, clean rooms and shared bathrooms; I am planning to come back. The late check in starts at 11PM for 25 Euro. Some flights, like mine, arrived at the airport almost at 11PM, I knew I had to pay for the late check in, but it would be great if they could extend the normal hour up to 12AM.
Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great location. None to report.
The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have the hotel staff waiting for us when we walked in. The room was well decorated. The bathroom was tiny and many taxi drivers had never heard of it.
Central location, very clean and tidy, staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Private bathroom was a bit on the small side.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The service provided exceeded what was expected from a 2-star hotel. We had to checked out very early one morning, without us asking Martha offered to pack us our breakfast eventhough breakfast starts at 8am. Every morning we had breakfast in bed with everything. Martha also introduced us to the free walking tour around Madrid. That was excellent too.
Value for money, friendly and considerate receptionist, clean and neat room. I like Flat5Madrid.
Excellent location with exceptionally friendly staff, perfect for anyone travelling on a budget and I would highly recommend anyone visiting Madrid to check it out
What I most liked was that I got the definite impression that efforts were made to please the guests. At other hotels staff sometimes act like they're doing you a favor by having you stay at their hotel. This was defintely not the case at the Flat5Madrid. Furthermore, the location was very good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. For a no frills hotel, it was great.
Very nice and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean. Excellent location. A littly noisy at night.
Located very close to a metro station and within walking distance to town centre. The rooms are quite spacious. It faces a very noisy street. The staff do not speak English, so it is a bit difficult to communicate.
it was on a nice place in the center of the city it was noisy , and the room was very dark , the stuff didn't speak any foreign language
Very good location: 1 min to metro, 2 minutes to cheap supermarket, some places to eat just outside. The street is quiet (but not on saturday night:)) Very cheap. There are some meal options in the hotel (e.g. 2 euro - coffee+croissant) The staff doesn't speak English. Not very convenient to walk to common shower through the reception hall. and the room could be a bit cleaner on our arrival
Hotel was very clean and welcoming and in an excellent location, close to lots of local attractions.
The room was fine. New and everything worked fine. Staff was fairly helpful. Although the website said the hotel had WIFI, it was not working when we were there. Also, one night at almost 2:00 am, the receptionist was having a discussion with three men outside our room door. Not sure why they chose that location as there was no one staying in any of the rooms around us.
Difficult to find (there was sign, but not written in the entrance anything) dirty. I was too big for the bed. No remote for TV, no galss to use, no table, so it's an ordinary hostel with high price. If you need a clean bad, warm room, OK bathroom in a nice area, it's good.
The room was very nice and comfortable and the hotel very well situated in the city centre near the metro. And even though the lady working in a hotel didn't speak any english she was very nice and let us to leave our luggage to the luggage room for the day.
Close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Bed wasn't very comfortable and no view out the window.
Extremely well positioned bus station nearby, well connected to metro, right in the centre of Madrid, a nice historical building, clean and extremely comfortable.New furniture and clean sheets. A little bit noisy during night, because of traffic, difficult to communicate to the stuff, while they were speaking only Spanish
Even though we spoke very little Spanish and the hotel staff didn't speak English, they were helpful and attended to any request we had. Excellent location, a few hundred yards from Gran Via, and just outside was the Metro, which is the best form of transport around Madrid.
