We needed to extend our trip by an additional night, so when we checked in the hotel upgraded us to a beautiful suite with a gorgeous view of Lyon. We could even see the snow covered Alps many miles away. We had a beautiful terrace as well. The European breakfast is really great too. If business brought us back to Lyon, we'd request the same room.
Like many hotels in Europe, this hotel doesn't have a top sheet on the bed. So in order to sleep covered you needed to use the comforter which I personally found this too warm. Just personal preference.

Excellent facility in every detail but the pillows were too soft for our liking. Location off the beaten track but off-set by the funicular which gave easy access to the Old Town which was as lively as we needed. A nice walk across the rivers to the modern shopping area's A wonderful restaurant adjoins the hotel for an exceptional dinner.
Soft pillows! Brillant beds though. Suggestion: A Nespresso Coffee machine in the room would have been nice.
