The hotel location is in a good part of the downtown city
The cost of the hotel per night with parking is simply off the page for the quality. the property is clearly an old hotel that has had a significant re-model but has stopped short on a few things and done just enough to look good in the photos. Rooms have old Air COnditioning units in the room under the window...they are noising and simple now worthy of the $450 per night cost, Bathroom has a sliding door with massive gaps either side offering no privacy, also the breakfast room is old and horrible and the breakfast at $22 + Services was very poor and not worthy of a cheap motel.

The hotel was right across the street from the Grammy Museum and right near the Staple Center in the heart of downtown. The area is becoming very trendy and was very interesting to explored. We were down the block from the Original Pantry Café, an LA tradition for a Sunday. Great fun. It was very easy to hop on to the highway and go wherever we wanted. The hotel was modern and the room was lovely. Well worth the stay.
One night, there was a local party that went on until 3:00 am (and we were not invited!) It felt like the DJ was in the room with us. Eventually, the noise subsided but that was a tough night.

Staff were friendly and the room was very spacious.
The hotel was a bit outdated and also they did not cater for special diets, for example the only milk available was cows milk.

Really spacious rooms, clean and comfortable
There is nightclub next to the hotel and our first night wasn’t great at all. Felt like the DJ booth was in our room. Was told it would stop around 9/10 but it carried on u till 2am! And we had just got off a 10 hour flight. Luckily it was only for that night and the rest of the stay was quiet and relaxed.

It is walking distance to the downtown
I arrived middle of the night 11.04 pm and was very hungry. I asked for the room service, they said it close at 11pm. Then i asked for boiling water to put in my noodle cup... they asked me to walk outside of the hotel to somewhere. Staff is not that helpful.
