Internacional Design hotel

Nice location in the Baixa, between Ferreira and Rossii Plazas, and a short walk down Rua Auguate from the Plaze Commercio.

Not their fault, but there is a small food market in Plaza Ferreira which was not open when we went there.

Location, close to public transport and many of the important sites to visit.

Location above all, it is write down in the middle and easy to navigate around. Taxi drivers understand Praca Figueira where it is situated. We liked the decor. The room was very clean. With a nespresso coffee machine in it. Much appreciated. Also as a welcome they gave us a porto dink at the bar ( we did not had a chance to take it as it is too hot for a glass of wine). But it is the first hotel that gave us a drink on their behalf that I heard of. Also the breakfast options were great and the chance to eat Pasties the Nata at breakfast buffet was appreciated.

the stairwell is in need of a refurb ( the decor is great both of the restaurant and in between the floors capsules with garden), however the carpet smelled. This is the only thing I would change.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The receptionist who checked us in saved me 70 eros over the 3 days by telling me where else I could park my car besides the closest plaza. The cleanliness of the unit.

The layout is awkward. We were in a between elevator floor unit. So we could not roll our luggage from the elevator to our unit. Had to carry it up or down stairs to the unit. Dined in the Bastardo Restaurant the first night of our stay. Ordered the Osso Buco. It was an extremely tough piece of meet. The next morning we went there for breakfast at a little before 10. JThe eggs were cold and the cold meats were nearly gone. I would expect food be kept hot during the serving period and serving trays would be replenished till the end.
