Golden Beach Resort

The location of hotel is next to beach.

1. Reception staff asked me to pay for stay. After I showed them the details that we have already paid then there was no response or acknowlegment from reception staff. I belive the staff may not well verse with English. 2. We were give corner room at level3. When requested at lower level, the staff told that you paid less and therefore that room allocated. Really surprised. When booking app gives duscount, we belive it is really discount and not downgrade rooms. 3. We checked-in around 4.30pm. Were hungry and asked reception for restaurant. They mentioned their own restaurant. When we went there no one came to serve. After when we checked with restaurant staff, we were told that restaurant will open at 6pm. We requested to serve some drinks, Juice but was refused. 4. We stayed 5 days. All the beer bottles (4no) stored in fridge was consumed by me on first day itself but housekeeping never replanished the consumed stock for next 5days :) 5. During check out date, we requested reception to allow us to check-out by 1pm which was refused. 6. Our advise to hotel management is to improve on hospitality.

There is no lift so elderly people should get room on lower floor. Also hotel doesn't charge payment in advance after telling so many times also..

Nothing as we figured out better locations and the sea was very rough during our stay.

Money were stolen from the back pack during breakfast even we have “do not disturb “ on the door.. find out the money missing after we reached Krabi as that cash money for emergency only. We contacted the tourist police and waiting for the findings. It was also weird that the Receptionist was not cooperating. The housekeeper came several times in our room’s balcony and seen her leaving quickly it was suspicious activity but later found out why she comes around several times.
