Very friendly staff. Nice rooms and pool. Great location, close to the beach, night market and shops in the center. Also bunch of restaurants close by.

Location, is excellent- it is a side street but restaurants, souvenir stores, 7/11 are within 5 minute walk. Also, you can walk to the beach (although it is a city beach) and the pier where you take longboats to Railay beach for a day trip (a must!) for 200 Baht ($6) roundtrip and other places. The hotel has traditional/colonial look. The rooms are large and comfortable and they have balconies. You can book trips in the hotel - there is a separate desk. Very nice pool, however it closes early.
Wi-fi is really bad. Needs improvement.

Lots and lots of stairs. Not a problem for us but could be if you have walking difficulties

Clean andspacious room. Very nice pool in the hotel area. Close to the center and Ao Nang beach.
Windows were not tight and we had a lot of misquitos inside.
