We stayed at the Arca Suite Hotel for our last night in Istanbul to be closer for our return journey home via the Sabiha Gokcen Airport. My husband comes from Istanbul and when he got directions to this hotel he looked worried and said that it was in a bad area! When we eventually found the hotel (it was amongst a lot of trucker delivery depots) and walked in, it was like an oasis in a desert!
The room was large and remodeled. The staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed there because it was only 30 minutes from the alternative airport (Sabiha Goecken). If you are on vacation in Istanbul, this is not the right location. It's great if you want to be on the Asian side, but it is quite a distance from Old Town Istanbul. It's probably more for the business traveler needing to be on the Asian side. The neighborhood is not an area where you can walk around at night. No services around.
A solid 4 stars; Good restaurant; Good service Air conditioning could be stronger
rooms are large and comfortable. staff are also so helpfull. food was gorgeous in Bistro. best thing is hotel is in center easy to reach to the hotel and shopping malls. fıtness might have larger but enough to work out and relaxing(sauna, massage and turkish bath.)
Clean and tidy Not many staff spoke english which is a problem for international travellers. No english channels on television. Very boring
All in all a great hotel. Very clean rooms and the staff was really good. The room was big and very comfortable. Located on Bagdat Caddesi, with good connections via minibuses. I would not hesitate to stay there agian, and the hotel is top of my list on the anatolian side of Istanbul. Would be better, if it was located on the more exclusive part of Bagdat Caddesi, but then again, the price would be 3 x what it was. This is not a negative remark.
Our stay in this hotel was above expectations. Everything was great, tha room was incredible. I would definitely will stay again here if I will have the opportunity.
good location, in the center, there is no business center but you can get loptop from reception with no extras just given deposit while you are using.large and comfortable rooms. I had a standart room but there was a jacuzi. definetly recommended. 5* service and standarts.
service and staff breakfast was every morning the same, i would make suggestion to make it different every morning.
Close to Bagdat Cadessi Close to train lines so its very noisy
Elite Hotel Kücükyali is a nice Hotel, Friendly Front Office Staff, but its to far from the City Center.
It is a really good hotel , staff is nice and very helpful . Rooms are clean Price is really so expensive , prices change fastly . It is not the first time that I come , but this time I paid about 320€ for 3 nights ...
everything was perfect and good value for money. i found more than my expectations, our room was good decorated and clean. i didn't see anything negative.
The rooftop pool is beautiful with a great view. The concierge service was outstanding: very helpful and knowledgeable. Great breakfast.
People at the reception are very nice with customers , hotel service is silent and rooms are good space and modern Mini bar is expensive ...
Good location, able staff, friendly atmosphere. Parking facility should allow more freedom to customer; valet parking is good but mentally prohibits customer from frequent coming in and out; physical condition of some rooms may need serious overhauling; breakfast menu excludes orange juice-great disappointment for most customers I'm sure. Somehow I had the feeling that the management should make itself a little bit more visible/perceptible in running the affairs in a first- handed manner occasionally.
I loved the staff they were very helpful and supportive. The room was clean. The carpet was very warn. There was dust in the coffee mugs left in the room for customers to use.
Railway noise all day...
Good premises, fine room, auxiliary staff friendly. Staff at reception desk looks overburdened, valet parking failing badly due to garage repair works and lack of adequate staff; reception desk personnel needs to be more courteous to customers despite apparent overload of work; there is no excuse for sullen faces, puffs or derisive remarks while serving customers.
Hotel is general is very good for the price, breakfast is great. Location is awful, nothing around, industrial area. Walk to the sea is not far (500 m), but along an ugly busy road.
rooms are big. comon places are good. breakfest is good. bed is low and unconfortable, room furnitures are old
Bad smell in room 504, moisty smell, water was leaking from the bad
the air-conditioning system was very poor..
It's really simple and fast. Giving out my credit card data does not give me a secure feeling overall. I don't even know if it's recorded in a database.
the breakfast was nice. the hotel inside too old and needs refurbished. the hotel on the web site classified as 5 star hotel but no where near it. too far from the city centre. the furniture too weary and old. the bed not confortable
it is not what a 5 star hotel should be.poor decoration and in need of a renovation. The area is industrial and ugly.
In order to exercise, Big Pool,Sport Jim,Sauna,Massage facilities are good. Breakfast has no hot food
Went to Istanbul solo, using my own car, for the 2010 F1 Turkish Grand Prix weekend. 1) Receptionstaff was very helpful. 2) I had both breakfast and dinner (since halfboard was included) and the quality of food was very good. 3) Parking facilities are more than enough and free of charge. 4) Location of the hotel is excellent (next to the highway) for someone who wants to go to IstanbulPark for F1, and uses (or rents) a car. For people who want to visit Istanbul and all tourist attractions, it is rather far and difficult to visit city centre (Taksim, Agya Sofia, Galata etc). 5) Most of the facilities are free of charge (wifi, indoor-outdoor swimming pool, gym, tennis etc) which adds a lot of value to the hotel. 1) Although I was solo travelling, I had booked a "deluxe" (as it was mentioned) double room, since I didn't have a choice from the site for a single room. But when I arrived there, I was given a small single room. When I complained to the receptionist, I was given an average discount. 2) Bed, sheets, towels and bathroom were clean, but the carpet and desk was evidently not cleaned at all before I arrive. 3) minibar was empty. 4) the single room has limited but just adequate room in total.
A really friendly hotel, with a good atmosphere and great facilities. Not idealy located for sight seeing, But with the very low taxi rates in Turkey....who cares!?
Overall it was ok. Staff and services are ok. Cleanliness of rooms was not done exactly as it should have. Mini-fridge did not work, nor was there as resolved. The hotel is well equipped in terms of the sports center and spa. You can do almost anything at this hotel: football, tennis, basketball, swimming, sauna, fitness room, Turkish bath and about 10 types of massage. staff is very helpful regardless of question or problem. Cleanliness of rooms was not done exactly as it should have. Mini-fridge did not work, nor was there as resolved
like the gym facility and swimming pools the location and breafast. Breafast time is supposed to begin at 7am, the staff only starts to prepare the breakfast at 7am. This resulted in many hot food not being prepared in time for us.
The rooms were kept clean and the rooms are big. Also the hotel is really close to the mean road and a bus station, so it is easy accessible. Hardly any of the staff could speak English. Also the computers were not well kept.
The staff speak poor english
Enough park places Location
Very clear, good location for business, close to the sea, comfortable bed, normal choice for breakfast, available parking place Not so good English of the staff, bad electric light at the room
Suitable for Sabiha Gocken Airport Your rate was considerabley higher than the rate displayed in the hotel reception, the hotel seemed to have lost the booking.
Renovated hotel, nice design, good breakfast, draughts in lobby
Rooms large and comfortable. Convenient location We only used as business overnight, but had we been tourists, might have expected eg swimming pool, in view of name 'resort hotel'
I was very comfortable Yes that when I booked it said it was 3 kilometers away from sabiha airport when actually it was 27 and I eneded up having to spend more money on the taxi to it and from it!
Has free internet access, individual air conditioning, good breakfast, big room. Price adequate. In summary, all I need for a business trip. General look is not like a business hotel, but has all the services at a good price.
Clean and good bar. Checkout slow / Billing vague
Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly, english speaking staff. Approximately 30 mins from Sabiha Gokcen airport.
comfort to find it.
