Cons: The old bait and switch. Breakfast was included until checkout when price was added on.
Pros: The beautiful house with its original features and traditional decor.
Cons: Feels a bit wrong to complain about this (and it's a minor issue) but the room, because the house is old, was quite warm!

Pros: The one bedroom suite was quiet, clean (except for slightly smelly water in the ice bucket), and big enough for us to spread out (we have a very light sleeper of a daughter, I'm seven and a half months pregnant and have to sleep sitting up with a pile of pillows, and my husband has health issues that make sleep difficult for him).
Cons: We arrived around 12:30 at night. I was nearly too tired to stand when we checked in, and obviously very pregnant. Check in was fine until I asked for a luggage cart. They didn't know where any were right then, and didn't feel like looking for any, apparently. Knock-off Red Roof Inns have luggage carts. The woman who checked us in said to park in the basement ($12.99) and bring our stuff up that way. Knowing that we had a sleeping toddler, a big cooler, and a lot of odds and ends that had to come up with us, I asked, well, is it faster and easier to bring things in through the lobby doors? No, she assured me, the elevator is closer in parking. Here it's all the way down the hall.
Parking was a byzantine nightmare. It's not a lot designed for consumer use, but clearly a parking garage for valet use. You can tell because of the double parking spaces, where people parking on their own would be left parked in but valets can juggle cars, and because of the huge columns everywhere, and because the spaces are way too narrow for people who still have to unload luggage. Many of the more expensive cars were parked across two spaces (of course), to prevent being hit or scratched, so there was literally one space left. That space took us about 15 minutes to find. Then there was the matter of unloading and lugging everything through the 85 degree heat to the distant elevator, sad and sleepy toddler in my arms while my hubby carried way too much.
To summarize, parking and then unloading took an additional 45 minutes, when we were already beyond exhausted. Someone should have offered to help us bring up our luggage through the lobby doors, and then I could have put the toddler back to sleep while my husband parked. Would have been much faster. But for whatever reason, they didn't want us to bring our stuff through the lobby. Or they just weren't thinking. I don't know.
As often happens, my husband had difficulty sleeping. I called down at 10:30 the next morning to to ask for a delayed/extended check out, and was told that it was impossible by someone who was brusque and clearly in a bad mood. I woke him up so we could be ready to leave on time. On a whim, I called back at 11:30 and asked if it would be OK if we stayed until 1:00, the usual delayed checkout time, and this time was told yes. He went back to sleep for an hour.
As I checked out, I explained my disappointment with the lack of luggage carts, the dishonesty about the ease of unloading from the basement parking garage, the fact that no one had volunteered to help at all (for context, I'm pregnant enough now that people volunteer to carry two grocery bags out to the car, a much easier task--I don't take them up on it, but then again, it's not usually past midnight when I go grocery shopping), and that the first person I called about delayed check out had been so rude and had denied it reflexively. The woman behind the desk in the morning was politely very defensive, but not helpful.

Pros: Beds are so comfortable ,room is nice and roomy very clean fast elevators and nice you don't have to go outside to get into the mall direct access to the stores and restaurants.
Cons: I only had one complaint and that was the pool ladders into instead of steps older people with limited mobility can't climb ladders into or out of the pool I had a hard time getting out thought maybe we were going to have to call for help but with a little perseverance I got out really enjoyed the pool and hot tub they need to have better access ,stairs instead of ladders would solve that problem

Pros: Excellent location. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfortable. For 75$ plus a continental breakfast a terrific deal
Pros: We had reserved a room with two double beds. It turned out to be a suite with seperate rooms and a kitchen area!
Cons: This is a summer dorm and guest lodging facility on the campus of Mohawk University- not a hotel! There are very few signs even marking its location, and it lacks commercial, polished touches. It is like staying in a dorm, because it is !

Cons: The pictures make it look way more glamorous than it is. Room had bare walls with fixtures exposed where pictures once hung. Furniture looked pretty beat up. Stains on the floor. Bedding was thin and there weren't any extra blankets. Place felt pretty barren in general. Definitely not worth $200/night.
Pros: I was there for a 3-day meeting having travelled over 700km.
The location was great, lots of little shops, and places to explore within walking distance. Nice pool areas-if the hot tub was not out of service I'm sure it would have been comfortable too but the swimming pool was nice as was the fitness room. Beds were comfortable, nice view of the city from our room. The hotel was conveniently located for my purposes. Staff were courteous. Secure patrolled parking.
Cons: The entire stay was noisy, lots of youth/teens/young adults wandering about and playing in the halls late into the night. Whatever they were playing with kept hitting off our door, the walls, etc well past midnight. Running up and down the halls hollering and carrying on-- this wasn't just in passing, the halls were used as social recreational areas.
The hotel is outdated; paint chipped, wallpaper peeling, etc walls extremely thin between guest rooms. We could hear entire conversations from our neighbours. We left the fan on to drown it out. Thankfully they sleep at night and were not there to party.
The hotel had no hot water the 2nd evening, and into the third day; I was not made aware of any plumbing maintenance that would do this beforehand. Having travelled a long ways, and long busy work days I was too tired to try to find other accommodations on such short notice.
They have secure indoor parking however because I had a small cargo box on my roof, my SUV wouldn't fit and I had to park in an open lot around the corner, next to a construction site that was not secure and had no lighting. Little reassurance was given when I inquired about safety and there was nowhere else I could safely park. I took a chance but thankfully nothing was damaged or stolen. I still had to pay for this parking.
I paid over 179.00/night just for the room and expected better than this.
We did take the time to enjoy the city in the evenings. We decided to extend our Hamilton stay however we found another hotel which was much more affordable, had free hot breakfasts, and everything else plus more that we got out of here.
I have another business trip for a week next month at the same location however I will not be staying at this hotel again for this cost/experience.
Pros: Clean inside
Cons: Charged for parking. We were not warned or told until checkout time.
Enjoy your visit to Hamilton with a stay at Crowne Plaza Hotel Hamilton. Guests indulge in massages, then grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. An indoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer LCD TVs and room service.
Cons: Hotels needs lots of renovations. Bathroom door was broken. Toilet seat broken. Not worth it
Cons: Lots of construction within the hotel at the moment. Hopefully doing some badly needed updates.
Pros: Location is on the route to Toronto, so location is convenient.
Cons: There was no exaust fan in the bathroom.
Pros: Great experience
Pros: Breakfast,and everything was fine
Cons: no problems
Pros: Staff were friendly. It was reasonably clean
Cons: Location was awful, beside a transfer station with tons of trucks. Room was very very small for the price paid. Reasonably clean but some spots on linens and tub not very appealing even to shower in. Breakfast was not passable but not great.
Pros: The The complimentary breakfast was an excellent value
Cons: Didn't have my room cleaned 2 days because they do rooms up until 5pm and we're short staffed
Pros: Everyone was very nice, great complimentary breakfast everyeverything was fresh and delicious.
Cons: The toilet made alot of noise constantly, and room a little smell to it almost like a stale , wet smell. Other then that everything was great and very clean
Cons: Shady people around. Was woken up at 3 in the morning by some lady banging on our door saying she needed in. That her stuff was in there. She came back with a few guys 30 minutes later. So scary!! Worst hotel experience ever!
Pros: The room was clean and the front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The hot breakfast is a great accompaniment, my kids enjoyed it immensely.
Pros: The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start our day. I like a hot breakfast, and was able to have a fresh waffle, while my husband had eggs and bacon!
Cons: The bed was too hard, but that could just be me. I did not have a good sleep.
Pros: Location, staff, clean room
Cons: I am satisfied with my stay, no complaints.

Pros: Location: very close to downtownKitchen: kettle, coffee, teas, cereals, plates etc,,,were available even for a backpack house. Nice.. Good price.
Cons: Guests / Room neighbors making noises (slapping doors, talking loudly) at 2:00am...
easy location in down town hamilton, much better than Toronto, affordable, but they put me in very smelly room 115.
Pros: fast internet, good friendly staff, required $100 security deposit.
Cons: outside parking police car was there as well on parking lot. smelly room and dont know how the car got scratched there or somewhere else?
The one staff member was friendly. Very relaxed vibe. Total hippie vibe. Many communal areas. A bit of a walk from downtown Hamilton but in a car no problem. Even though I didn't give it a high review I would stay there based on price and convenience.
Pros: The price is a strong draw for staying a night or two. And by staying I mean going there only to sleep and leaving right away in the morning.
Cons: For the price HGH offers decent amenities and good security. It is beat looking though. A definite bohemian vibe, not for your regular business traveller.
This property is in a residential block, with limited street parking. The internet is slow and coverage is spotty from the guest rooms.
Pros: This is a very nice location if you are looking for a hostel/dorm type location. It is clean with nice amenities and the staff is quite nice.
Cons: It was not obvious when I booked this, that the property ISN'T a standard hotel. I was traveling on business and unfortunately even a clean, nicely run hostel-type location didn't suit my needs.
Located near a train station, Hamilton Guesthouse is a great choice for a stay in Hamilton. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking.
Cons: air conditioner too noisy, couldn't sleep with it cycling on and off
Pros: Friendly and approachable staff
Cons: The only issue , the cleaning person missed a lot in respect to cleaning the entire room.
Cons: The room had an odd smell. Front staff was not very accommodating.
Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable and they did not turn or phone on in the room until the last few hours of our stay!! (After i had to go down and ask as we got busy signals all weekend) You hear every door close from the hall in your room as if it is your own!!
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Both attendants at the front desk can take some courses on customer service. Not the right line of work if you can't even hold a conversation.
Cons: not clean. noise from outside is really annoying.
Pros: The hotel front desk person was top notch. She was helpful, personable and very willing to make accommodations. In short she made me feel very welcome. I think she should become the manager of a large hotel.
Cons: The room had several defects that I forgot to mention to the staff: The entrance light was burnt out. The bathroom door knob did not work. The door wouldn't latch. The bathtub would not drain. By the end of my shower I was stand in 8 inches of dirty wa
Pros: Location worked for this trip or need
Cons: Nope , breakfast was good . Eating area a little small but it was ok , got to meet stranger that were also staying in hotel
Pros: Beds were clean. Room got cool nicely. Breakfast was average.
Cons: There are no elevators! I was shocked to see that. We were given rooms on the 2nd floor. With four suitcases above 50 lbs, that was a tough task taking them up there. The bathtub was completely clogged. No maintenance on weekends. Not good.
Pros: Nothing the front desk girl was very rude and not helpful at all I will not go back to this hotel
Cons: Hotel Employee was extremely rude and disrespectful
Pros: Proximity to restaurants and highway
Cons: Would not take visa debit or cash for incident deposit at check-in. Had to wait 4 hours for a friend with a credit card to come

It's stuck in a time warp of about 1965. Ugly. We had a non-smoking room , but the room beside us was a smoking room, and the smell of (marijuana) smoke made us ask to be moved. Two tiny soap bars, no shampoo or anything else. Basic cleanliness and the TV worked, but that's about it. Ugly, ugly, ugly (did I already mention that? Teensy shower stall, no shelves to put anything on. Sitting on the toilet causes the thigh of a non-obese person to rest on an adjacent electric heater (ouch!) Bathroom sink at chest level to an average-height woman. Advertised fridge and microwave have been installed in the closet, leaving about 6 inches of hanger space -- in the winter, 2 coats hardly fit. I could go on, but the picture should be clear by now.
Pros: Really, nothing.
Cons: Horrible décor and fixtures. We had mostly chosen it for its convenient location to people we wanted to visit, but had trouble finding it. We were told 'the location on the internet is wrong' and it was far out of town, not where we thought it was.
Good quality for the price
Pros: clean, friendly staff, reasonable rate
Cons: could of had hot drinking cups,
It's cheap, clean and has running water. No amenities whatsoever. Only one chair per room. No dresser. Bathrooom is very interesting.
Pros: The owner was a very enthusiastic, nice person. Our theory is that he and his family bought the place for a song, it was a derelict, and they worked hard to make it operable.
Cons: Very primitive.
When visiting Hamilton, Pleasant Stay Motel is a great choice to consider. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: the bed was comfortable and lots of hot water in the shower fairly quiet even though we were by the ice machine
Cons: curtains were stained wish that there was water offered for the continental breakfast
Pros: It's location and price made it a great place for the week. Being on the 1 st floor made it easy to come and go. The breakfast was reasonable and there was lots of sitting space.
Cons: In general the room was clean and comfortable. However there was semi full garbage bag in the room when I arrived and the garbage was not emptied daily. The air conditioning vent was dusty. I did not use it because I did not want the dust flying about.
Pros: Free breakfast, free internet, near downtown, fitness room.
Cons: Fitness room had only three machines and not working properly. Housecleaning failed to clean one of the days. Breakfast has no eggs. Near downtown, but in a run-down area of town. Had to change room since the window had no view.
Cons: Everything was old and dirty
Pros: Well to be honest I was looking for something in close proximity to St. Joseph's as I had an early appointment next morning! It met that need for sure! The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: I would never want to stay in that particular room again! As I was only there one night but that was enough for a room with no windows to look out! Felt claustrophobic.
Pros: location was great
Cons: the room was really closed it felt closurfobic , bed seemed really small to be a queen size, matress was very uncomfortable , blanket was way too heave and kept falling as it was a duvet ( front desk said that was all they had) walls needed a good clean
Pros: Price was all I can think of.
Cons: The phone had 2 o 3 years of dust on it. You were afraid to use it because you might catch something. We asked for a wake up call and did not get it.
Pros: The location was great..bed was comfortable
Cons: There was no coffee left..although there was cream ..sugar..ran out of hot water..phone looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 5 years...there was no elevator..i have rhuematoid arthritis and had to walk the stairs..no clock in the room
Pros: The price we paid
Cons: the bathroom was not clean (hair in bath and on floor) which makes me question the overall cleanliness...
Pros: Well cleaned.
Cons: Daily supplies not provided, phone was not working properly,no action by manager.
Pros: It's location, nothing more
Cons: The room was not cleaned, found a sock from the last guest, found hair in the sheets so clearly not washed, brown stains down the wall from the a/c, towels were like sand paper

Cons: Very slow checkin process. The whole was full of smoke especially the lobby. Even in none smoking room, the smell of smoke is every where. And there was no facial tissues provided, no soaps for shower. Very cheap. It was noisy at night, could not sleep at
Pros: Size of room.
Cons: Door jam had been kicked in several times. Yikes!
Cons: Hotel was located in a rather sketchy part of town. Very run down. Not a safe atmosphere.
Anyone who books this hotel should be aware that it is in a run down neighborhood. They were dishonest about breakfast, which has none. They also advertise minibar. None. I figured when I saw that, it had to be a nice hotel. The streets are hard to understand because almost every street is a one way and we were lost almost all of the time. The wifi was slow and sometimes didn't work. Last but not least they charged more money than they promised by at least 11 dollars. Do not go here. I certainly will never again.
Cons: the hotel itself. neighborhood. this place is run down.
This was a great plase
Pros: I love. Allbof my stay it was greater. ThenI could ask for
