Luxury Beach Guest House

It is on the beach and very close to the airport. It was clean. Staff was very nice.

The pictures are definitely a lot nicer and fancier them the place actually is.

Pluses of this hotel are: great location (straight on the beach), decent, clean rooms; towels and linens changed regulalrly and are of a decent quality; great shower; a nice bar upstairs, extraordinary efficient and helpful staff, the general ambience of hospitality and cordiality; the beach is very clean and parasols and sunbeds are plentiful (for a fee, though). A restaurant next door (which belongs to the same owner) is just perfect and highly recommended. As to the staff, while checking out we left behind a small bag with tinkets we bought locally. Not only has the staff kept the bag but even helped us to contact a local courier service and monitored the progress in shipping it to our friends in Lisbon (thank you, Rosanna for that!)

Minuses are few: as the beach is right at the hotel's door, if you are on the ground floor, you can even see passers-by; and the place is too costly (which is well understood as there are very few hotels in the area). No balconies is a huge minus , of course. Rooms are pretty small (especially those with a partial sea view) Safe box did not work properly, either (but we really feel safe and secure and did not care much of that).

Right on the beach, short taxi ride from the airport and a lively venue. You did need to ignore the take-offs and landings. It is very near to the airport., But convenient, good breakfast and excellent roof top bar. The place has a lot going for it

Great place but bad timing. There was a motor bike convention there so a lot of revving engines and air pollution. Also a heck of a lot of traffic. They should have warned us when we booked. We would go back though.
