It was a convenient location. Our room backed to construction. You had to open the windows, as there was no air. It was fine for us, because we were very tired. The room was clean. It meet I iur needs. The staff was nice and helpful.
The staff was extremely helpful. Helped with exchanging money, getting details on arriving at the airport, printing our boarding passes and helping with dinner arrangements. Location was a bit too far from the city center.
I did not like it at all. There was a lot of noise, and it was really cold. I have to take two different elevators to go to the fourth floor.
Staff No air conditioning, rooms were hot hard time sleeping and very noisy. Could hear both outside and indoor noise
We were given an upgrade on arrival. The suite was comfortable and clean. Decor could be upgraded a little. Perfect for a shopping trip to the city. Taxi into the city at night was €20. Nothing
Trays of dirty plates outside rooms
comfortable spacious room. check in very busy and slow. 2 check in staff only. They had to deal with numerous small queries re exiting car park ect. It would help if there was someone assigned to queries and 2 staff available to check people in during busy periods.
Very nice staff.clesn and comfort None
Close to the Airport. Clean Comfortable Several Tour buses resulting in long line for breakfast. We skipped breakfast because of the line.
Good value for the money a little out of the way from Dublin
Had no problems with staff. Everyone was very helpful. If I had any questions they were quick to answer no matter how many I had. The only complaint I have about my entire trip was that the beds and pillows at the hotel were very uncomfortable.
We came through to visit Dublin on our way to our daughter's graduation in Wales. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was helpful with pointing out sights to see and arranging transportation. A great stay!
the location and the staff
comfy beds, clean room, lovely lobby
Great breakfast Relaxed atmosphere Friendly staff Water cold-ish both mornings for shower seemed much hotter in the evening. While sitting in foyer air was chilly but it was minus outside. Would like to be able to hear the telly in foyer and have access to topical programmes such as Late Late toy show which I know isn't easy to satisfy everyone
the double was in fact two singles that were pushed together making sleep very uncomfortable
Good experience. The walk to Luas was longer than we thought.
Room was spacious and comfortable and clean.
The Room and the food in the restaurant
The location, the price, the free wifi & internet facilities and the food My vodafone reception was extremely poor in my room and was not great in the reception area either
The hotel was very clean and the rooms were of a high quality. Great price for the quality of the hotel. Key cards did not work very well in the lifts and did not work at all in the vending machine. Female receptionists could have been more friendly and helpful.
well run hotel, has everything for vist to dublin, luas rail outside the door, spotless clean. the roundabout
The service at breakfast was extremely poor. It took over 20 minutes for our waiter to ask us if we wanted tea or coffee, then a further 10 minutes for it to come.
How close it is to the Luas. We got a smoking room and it was near the lifts and the noise level was terrible. You could hear everything. We have stayed here before but not in a smoking room and it was great. Don't go for the smoking room, other then that it was good.
Very relaxed atmosphere, convenient location. Stayed in top floor, did not have air conditioning turned on in room but room was noisy at night probably due to the operation of some heating/conditioning system for all of hotel.
Room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice also.
Staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were clean but dated and in need of a good overhaul. The menu really needs to give more variety but is well priced. This hotel is supposed to be the flagship of the Moran Hotel group. Sadly if this is true then they have a lot of catching up to do to claim a 4 star rating. The Bewley Hotel chain which is also Moran owned are in my mind superior and give far better value and they are 3 star rated. But then that is just me moaning ? Also that there was a Halloween competition attended by 500 screaming kids over that week end did not help.
Location. Staff. Price
Location. Conference facilities convenient. Good breakfast. Very spacious room stale dessert; given smokers room without option; shower and tv not working properly. NOT at 4 start standard
very friendly helpful staff,great breakfast
Ease of Check In
New rooms are very comfortable with great shower Bar staff were dreadful especially one waitress who clearly does not like her job or dealing with customers and should really consider an alternative career, I witnessed customers express their dissatisfaction at the slow service and it was not even busy at the time. On the other hand the reception staff were very pleasant and I would stay again for the nice room but eat dinner elsewhere
I already filled the questionaire in the bedroom and handed it into Reception on leaving the Hotel. I consider the prices of drink in the bar rather expensive not used to those prices down the Country.
great bed, quiet room, it was very crowded - due to match - but that is hardly a complaint.
the security of guest accommadation linked to the professional competence of reception staff at all times courtesy and civility thank you the menu in the bar is a small portion and on one occasion was not as described i found the waiting staff professional and pleasant and did not voice concerns to avoid language difficulty
room was very comfortable, food selection was just o.k as we arrived about 3pm we got tail end of one menu.and when we got back that night food serving was just over and couldnt get anything like sandwiches - except crisps
Everything was fine
All enjoyable The Bar and Bar staff
Very friendly atmosphere
Excellent location, comfortable room, fast & efficient service
We have stayed in this hotel a few times and it's one of our favourites. It is getting an upgrade but we were not disturbed by this. We upgraded to one of the the newly refurbished rooms and it was lovely and fresh and clean. And sooooo quiet. My hubby and I were treated very well by all staff from check in to check out. Food was good, entertainment in bar enjoyable and atmosphere very relaxing. Nothing
its location and its deal
The Brassiere was excellent Room cold especially the bathroom during the night. Should have been advised the lift was not working
Great staff and facilities at amazingly low prices. Thanks for everything furniture in the room was stained/dirty
great service, nice rooms, and lots of facilities Couldnt get the Tv tuned t proper channels or remote to work lol :p
The price, the service and the cleanliness
The hotel was cheery and clean no
Convenience outside the city, with access to the Red Cow Luas line and the M50
Food was very good, child friendly. Booked family room and was very surprised at how big it was! No childrens menu in bar resturant although children were welcome. About 1 hour bus journey from hotel to centre of Dublin. Maybe would not have booked this hotel had we been aware of this.
the rooms were very good
everything was nice . start with check-in to check-out. rooms are good size, clean and bed wear very good. breakfast was nice, worm, busy morning but well organized. would be nice if they have some croissant and selection of danish pastry on breakfast. breakfast chef and service staff was helpful. check out time was 11 am. it should be 12 am for checkout as other standard hotels .
It's convenient location Too noisy on the floor
i have stayed in the hotel previously and always find staff very helpful and professional
i liked the homeliness and in particular the friendliness of the hotel staff who made me feel very relaxed and comfortable
The room was very spacious and liked the flat screen TV. . Very sound proof. No noise from either outside or other rooms. The food was OK but a bit plasticky and no home cooking. Wouldn't chose to eat in if I had a choice. The food was better in town. It is out of town but located close to a tram stop which was very handy. Good location if you are heading esewhere as it is right on the motorway. You don't have to battle the traffic in town here. There are major roadworks on the roundabout right now making access a little confusing and a long walk to the tram stop.
Large rooms & large shower. Broken toilet seat
Room was very nice.
The staff were excellent, courteous, helpful and made everything about my stay at the Ibis Hotel Dublin West pleasant and enjoyable. The Ibis Hotel Dublin West is in an excellent location for accessing Dublin City and its environs.
The beds no residents bar on a saturday night
Value for money, breakfast at €9.00 extra made sense if you didnt get up for breakfast and late breakfast available. No cigarette machine! understand that it is a non smoking hotel but availabilty would facilitate customers as there are shops within walking distance!
Noise levels at 4.45am on the fourth floor.
could not sleep very loud noise all night would not stay again
Nothing The reception did not have our booking, Staff were extremely rude, our room was absolutely freezing cold
