Great spirit in the hostel, very good vibes. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Carlos, the owner, was always available to create a good environment and propose group activities for a fair price. For example : barbecues, surfing classes, going out all the tenants to well known pubs and night clubs at Corralejo. Especially I enjoyed my surf lessons. It was my first time and I will go surfing if I have the chance. Breakfast was abundant , great variety of food and drinks. Despite I spent 4 nights in a room with 7 people more , I felt quite comfortable, my room was empty during the day and at night my roommates were very respectful. This was my second time in Surf riders and I will definitely go back in the future!
Towels of the bathroom should be changed daily

Made some great friends with awesome people
2 days after i checked out and moved to another hostel i went back to pick up some friends from surfriders for a night out. At that time a couple of girls who were NOT GUESTS were chilling in the hostel. I was 5 steps into the hostel when one of the employees (Fabian) told me to leave the hostel because im not a paying guest anymore. After i explained that im just picking up friends he continued with his bossy show, triying to impress some girls with his territorial behaviour... Advice: apply the same rules on men and woman and also learn to express yourself in a non aggressive way. People are coming for holiday and not to deal with your need for validity =) The other employees, volunteers and the owner were cool though.

Breakfast was really good but got a little bit samey after a week. We weren't in the main hostel, our room was a few buildings down so was nice and quiet (apart from the barking dog next door!) and plenty of room in the kitchen/living area, house keeping cleaned the rooms everyday which was awesome.
We wanted a double bed but it was two singles pushed together, normally we wouldn't mind but a week of falling down the middle of the beds was annoying. A slight variety in breakfast would be nice, but can't be picky with a free brekkie!!

great people, had a lot of fun, was a great time and as i travelled for work, i balanced work-life with great people who were up for party quite a lot.

The hospitality, cleanilness, the breakfast, very generous, and the hosts very attentive to filling up breakfast bar when needed.
The 4 bedded room too small for me but changed to 8 bedded room giving me more space
