1)Heated toddler pools. 2)Alcoholic Drinks were good 3)Breakfast was good 4) beach near dunes via shuttle bus was gorgeous despite the jelly fish and stormy weather

1) Could not shower due to scalding hot to cold water temp changes. Hotel refused to resolve/compensate/understand the problem. 2) Not near a nice beach. Beach is rubbish and rocky so they have a shuttle that drops you to a beach beside the dunes. The dunes+ beach is lovely although a long walk from where the shuttle drops you if you have little ones. 3) menu was big on pork 24 7. Beef and chicken dishes were not good. Veg was also far and few. When i asked for a few cheese sandwiches at tea (as we dont eat pork sandwiches) i received some strange dry produce which we could not eat. 4) they will con you by offering you an upgrade to move to the kids area and the only alternative being the other end of the resort. You will either pay that or be banished to one end of the resort. Bizzarre when they werent full. 5) sheets not changed and no bed cover so they got really sandy.

Nice hotel let down by staff

Our room was lovely, the hotel is in the process of being refurbished and our Junior Suite was fresh & modern. The nearby town of Corralejo had plenty of bars, restaurants & shops all reasonably priced. Never actually used the Spa/Gym, but went there to get fresh towels and it looked good. Plenty of pools and the communal areas were always clean. Kids Club had good variety and staff there were very friendly and dealing with a variety of nationalities. Evening entertainment was decent.

Our allocated room overlooked the roof of the Pool Bar, with an ugly great AC generator just feet from our balcony. We asked to swap as we use the balcony in the evenings when our son has gone to bed. The receptionist literally rolled her eyes and sighed. She eventually offered us an alternative but explained it wasn't quite ready. Nearly 4 hours later, the new room was ready ( and she told us not to use our current room in the meantime ) and it was much smaller than the one we wanted to move from and had yet to be modernised, despite the unhelpful receptionist telling us all the rooms were the same. It also had twin beds instead of a double. We ended up returning all our luggage ( without any assistance ) to the original room and getting more rolled eyes and stony faces from the front desk when we pointed out the disparity between the rooms. The food at the buffet was hit & miss. No specific kids section in a family resort. Lukewarm food was the norm, unless you got it on the odd occasion it was refreshed. Huge choice of salad, cold cuts all the time, but the hot food was always of a lesser quality. The waiting staff were efficient, but never said hello/goodbye or had any chat for the kids. Perhaps we're too used to the service available in other countries like Egypt & Mexico, but the Canary Islands are miles behind in this respect. A tennis court shouldn't cost €13 on an All Inclusive resort. No spirits available in the a la carte restaurant which was also buffet as opposed to table service. More lukewarm food with less choice than the main buffet. Oh, and lastly, the little lifeguard was the most miserable, moaning shell of a man I've ever come across. He's also the only employee I've ever seen spit into a swimming pool which is full of kids. he spent more time ranting about people putting towels out than helping people or looking after the pool area like the other lifeguards did. I actually saw him sitting laughing at a woman trying to put up a parasol rather than going to help her. This hotel has the potential to be a winner if they sorted out their customer focus and manners. The location was lovely but I would find it hard to return here despite lovely rooms and facilities.

Poor entrance to get access to the appartments separated by the main hall. Horrible buildings sites abandoned just crossing the road outside the hotel

This is an all-inclusive hotel for families with small children. We rather not recommend it for any couples. There is no beach access and the pools are filled with beach chairs. The main restaurant was not very good in our opinion. The other two restaurants were ok. For those you have to get a reservation in advance and you can dine only once per week there. PCs+Internet & Wifi is available for pay. If we come back to Corralejo we definitely won't stay there anymore!

The animation team was good.

The following points made our day not plesant: cockroaches in the room, the food was not varied enough in particular the salades were boring, only one heated pool and babies were aloud in the pool without a swim nappy.
