This is a hostel, in a historic building. The breakfast is small, but had all the basics. We had a room with our own bathroom, which was very nice. Sadly due to the covidvirus , Coimbra is empty of university students and tourists. The building is historic. It seems that it use to be a home for mother's and babies.

The staff is gentle and genuinely tries to help with whatever questions you may have. The place is historical itself and greatly located, just in front of the Old Cathedral. The rooms are simply decorated but well furbished.
Ok breakfast. Don't expect more than the normal american coffee, cheap tea, some buns, the possibility of a toast, some cereal and milk. Ants in the room. Expect to hear blowdriers and other similar sounds even if you book a double room, as the rooms are not as soundproof as you may expect and read about.
