While the exterior of the hotel is showing its age (peeling paint), it’s still fabulous in every way that really matters: the rooms are spacious and modern, the location cannot be beat, and the service is impeccable. You essentially have a private beach with swimmable ocean — few areas of the Yucatán offer this combination. If you can catch a deal for the Grand Club like we did, do it (we paid twenty dollars more total for five nights). The top-notch wait staff of Amado, Alex, Marcos, and Juan Jose will be at your beck and call for what’s virtually an all-inclusive experience.
Our toilet clogged three times, but the staff offered us a different room. It was a little embarrassing calling for a plunger each time; I asked them to leave a plunger with us so that we wouldn’t have to bother them, but they never left us the plunger. Perhaps they were short on plungers. It wasn’t a big deal: they were responsive each time and it was great that they offered a different room, so no problem really. My only disappointment was that they said they’d leave us a plunger and they didn’t.

Best location, walking distance from clubs and restaurants. Private beach is very clean with greats service. Clean and modern rooms, very spacious with beautiful view. Super friendly and motivated staff always there to support. Pool is directly next to the beach. Big fitness and spa area. The bus stop is close to the hotel to get around the Hotel Zone, very convinient and low price. One passes by every several minutes. I can recommend this to everyone travelling to Cancun, best value for your money!
