very spacious Tower suites w balcony in floors 53-63 with excellent view over the town and Chao Prayer river, one of the most exciting roof top dining places in Bangkok, hotel conveniently located at Silom Rd, water ferry station (Oriental pier) and Sky Train station in short walking distance. Staff is very friendly but perhaps sometimes a little cumbersome and less sophisticated than in comparable luxury hotels, English language needs improvement for part of the staff, the Tower club lounge closes too early (6 p m) and the variety of food and newspaper offerings there does not quite match those in similar lounges places like those of the Shangri-La or the Sofitel Silom.
location obsequious smiling but unhelpful reception staff. room was small compared to similar in region, no can-do attitude.
The hotel is really nice and the river view was great. they have a nice food and restaurants. I took a suite and it was really perfect. none
Excellent service, nothing too much trouble for the staff, beautiful suite for the money, Had to remind staff of the online deal (bottle of wine on arrival, drink in rooftop bar)
Food was great, Service was great, room was clean with a great view. Prices are steep but no more then a nice hotel in London
Ideal for business traveller. All is to the level of a good 5 stars hotel
well organized hotel, nice staff members, well aware of the area, they speak good english. the idea of asking us to leaveat a certain time when we asked for extension since our flight was a t night.
The whole experience was amazing. The staff were exactly so nice. The place was just fabulous. The sky bar is out of this world as well as the restaurants Could not say 1 bad word about this hotel
Overall experience was perfect. And the reasonable price for.. No.
Design and ambience, very luxurious and beautiful sight from rooftop. Service was fabulous, you did not have to think one second e.g. where you have to go and somebody would help you. We had dinner at tower (Sitico, cannot remember the name?). We ordered a 5 course menu, but it was served in one hour, this could have gone a little less fast. We were rather fast full adn could not eat the desert at the end. So it would be better to have a pause in between. Furthermore when lying at pool side you can see the dirt from below balcony's, it would be good to clean this .
The Sirocco restaurant on the 64th floor was amazing and we enjoyed a romantic meal for 2 on the Saturday night. The food was excellent. All the staff in the hotel were outstanding and very courteous.
The views from the rooms, were definately the best part of the stay. The Sky Bar, and M floor were also good. Breakfast and Food in general was great. TV had poor signal and not much variety.
We've always enjoyed W Scottsdale and figured we couldn't go wrong with W Bangkok. Very modern, in the heart of all the action whether you're looking for a ping pong show in the red light district or a fine evening of dining and drinks at nearby sky bar (featured in the Hangover movie) or Moon bar, or seeing the sights like the royal palace or nearby temples.
They made me a cake for my birthday! As usual with Dusit, the front of house team was exceptional Its a very long walk to the elevators from the lobby for a lot of the rooms, my room was in need of decoration - it was a little shabby, the doors to the mini bar cupboard were difficult to open, BUT - they made me a cake for my birthday so its no big deal!
The proximity to BNH Hospital. I felt that the superior room I paid for on USG funds should have been a deluxe room. The USG sends many people to stay at this hotel and there should be the courtesy of this small upgrade. I did not like being in the annex and I did not like the chilly response to an upgrade request.
nice food the cleanliness
staff was nice and perfect location for night out. close to MTR. building and room looks out of date and need more make up in certain area.
the staff are excellent, the food wasof a high standard the pool is too small...
spa, food and well behaved staff worn-out carpets, looks pretty old, must be changed in the hotel lobby of Club class offices at 3rd floor
I already stayed a few times in this hotel and I particularly like the Dusit Club arrangement. An affordable luxury in an excellent location for walking and shopping and close to the Sky Train for shopping at Siam.
Freindly and welcoming staff, public spaces in hotel easy to use and very comfortable, closeness to public transport. Nothing to make an adverse comment on.
The hotel itself is very old and does not live up to 5 star expectations. the public areas are fabulous and great choice of restaurants but the rooms are tired and need a makeover. the shower is the worst i have ever had in any hotel low water pressure and in the bath very low down. the business floor staff are not very attentive you always have to ask then they take notice.
I liked most the pleasant atmosphere, spacious and convenient rooms, and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff.
The concierge Staff was amazingly helpful and resourceful. The 3rd floor club was a good place to relax and work as well. The water pressure in the shower was very weak but I also did not complain.
Everything. Location.. service.. ambiance without being pretentious. A cool place. Can't think of anything.
Great location. The staff was very friendly. Great first impression upon checking in. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 anniversary and we loved the hotel. N/A
Every thing was GREAT Outstanding
The hotel is first class all the way. The service, food, & bedroom/bathroom linens are excellent. The staff is almost perfect and I didn't speak to a single person from maid staff on up that didn't speak excellent English. I can't say that about any hotel I've stayed at in Bangkok and I've been going there for years. The biggest downside is location. It's not convenient to public transportation, Sapan Taksin BTS station is 500meters away which sounds doable unless it's 100 degrees with 99.99% humidity which will make you a complete mess by the time you get to whenever you're headed. Also, we took taxis everywhere because of the heat and with NO exceptions, none of them knew where the hotel was or recognized the name of the hotel or the building it's in. Even with my Thai wife (who is a Bangkok native), we had to call the hotel to explain to the taxi driver how to get there as she couldn't explain it to him either. I'd say stay there in the cold season (Nov-Jan) but avoid the rest of the year. Make sure you stay at the Tower Club or get a rate with breakfast as the restaurant rates are exorbitant by most standards and just plain obscene by Thai standards. It was originally a condo building so every room is like an extended stay suite with a small kitchen, fridge, & stove but NO cooking utensils, plate ware or silverware. We didn't care as we had no intention of cooking anyway. It also has a "living room" with furniture but no TV so it was wasted space for us.
Our hotel room was beautiful and well appointed. The room was very clean and extremely large. The service at the hotel was great and they even removed a charge from my account that I wasn't happy with. The breakfast was amazing and had many options to choose from. The gym was a nice touch and featured a lovely sauna and steam room. The view from the room however, could not be more stellar and had to be our favorite part of Lebua. I did not like how long the elevator took to come because of how far up we were. I also did not like that bar patrons could use the tower elevators. At night the wait for the elevator could actually take 10 minutes. Fair warning.
The level of service provided by the staff was exceptional
All is ok, staff is great, rooms are big, great value for money
1- the bellboy call for me a taxi from main road very quickly. 2- room size ( family suites ) there is always cooking smell in way to rooms floor 22
It was my first time in Thailand and I was blown away by; how big the room was, how attentive the staff was and how cheap it was. I was looked after better than I have ever been in my life. Nothing
- Room size and room conditions. Location is ok, relatively near shopping complex. Breakfast is sufficient Only 1 inetrnet PC in the bussiness center. Wifi on floor 18 did not work
A very nice hotel near skytrain station. The best I ever stayed in Bangkok!
great hotel. friendly staff, good location. bargain for the price!
great service at the suites close to skyline great breakfast
2 room apartment with family, great aircon, self sev laundry good breakfast if inclued in room rate. front gate man organised 2 taxis for a ealy flight 545 check out they arrived 520 at good rate stayed 3 night 1 night building site across road worked allnight short taxi ride or 15 min walk to most attractations tho taxi cheap and allways avaiable
great room, awesome view of city, good dim sum at breakfast mold or mildew in bathroom (black stuff in grout) grosses me out. Didn't expect it from such a nice place.
excellent, perfect service, wif-fi works perfect, good location, weclome drink, nice gym everything was perfecgt
Well placed for business and shoping. Also for sky train and river . Swiming pool area was basic
Ideally location and excellent food NA
I really enjoyed the Holiday Inn Silom. It was conveniently located. It was quiet. The staff was very knowledgeable. They gave me great directions for traveling around Bangkok. The food was great. The price was very affordable. I did have trouble with the shower. It was either very very hot or very very cold. Also, the wait staff in the restaurants was inattentive.
the indian restruant
Holiday Inn Silom have one of the best dinner buffé in Bangkok. It is cleaned an filled constantly so you feel like you are the only one eating from it. However se under bad points. Of course even the sun have its spots. Last week Wednesday if I remember right I visited the buffé. It was obiously to late at night because the buffé were sloppy and many dishes were finished. It was a big disappointment. So this week I am staying at Pullmans instead.
The People... Cant think of any...
The premier double room was excellent and the bed was the best bed I have ever slept in.
The room I stayed in was one of their newer refurbished Exec rooms (got a free upgrade) - very nice room on 17th floor. The hotel itself is actually really nice, the facilities are good, the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and good quality food, the service at checkin was also top class and staff were very friendly and professional. Overall a good hotel quality in central BKK. The location is about the only thing not perfect for me about this hotel - it's just that there's not a huge amount in the immediate area - like places to grab food or a drink later at night - this isn't much of an issue though as you can walk 10 mins or grab a cab to somewhere with more happening. Guess u can't have everything though!
I like the look of the hotel and location and good service and helpful staff , i will stay again
The breakfast was excellent, very good food Nowdays not having inertnet is a pain, the inernet available at the hotel was so expensive
The staff was really professional and very friendly. We had a pleasant 4 days in the hotel, good location near to metro station which makes life easier to avoid from bargaining with the tuk tuk drivers every time and get stuck in the Bangkok's dantastic traffic jam. The hotel needs to be renovated. Altough it was not really dirty in the rooms, due to old bathroom sink it seems like the bathroom is not clean...
Excellent and helpful staff. Cleaniless of the room. Good facilities - but unfortunately the whether not allowed us to use the swimming pool. Price is a bit rated higher compared to other 4-5 stars international chained hotel. There is a construction site nearby. The staffs are helpful enough to arrange another suite so just avoid facing directly the site. However the alternative room was smaller than the original one we reserved. It was also hard to find the way to the hotel when we arrived at the first day. But it might due to the road /street marking system of Thailand. Breakfast time also finishes quite early at 10:00am.
Excellent room. Pleasant helpful staff. Food and drink reasonably priced
Great location, huge room, quiet inside, good value for miney. Unpersonal atmosphere.
The staff were delightful beginning with Reception right through to the Resturant and Bar staff. We had our children with us and they made a big fuss of them. The Reception staff were extremely helpful in organizing transport and directions to resturants and sights. It was so great to be in such a spacious apartment with beautifully appointed Bathrooms. We would definately book there again.
High standard of privacy and comfort Minor toilet flush problem
The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms are large and comfortable. All amenities are provided. The rooms are slightly overpriced for the hotel location. Next to the hotel is a construction site so ensure that you get a room facing the other side. Breakfast slesction could be better for the price, quite limited.
very confortable room, good design, very quiet, great gym
The rooms are very big. Room service was ok. Breakfast was very poor. Service people seem to be not good educated and directed.
i didn't like anything about this hotel even the price comparing to other hotels actually i dont recomend this hotel at all , can't believe its 4 star hotel ! i stayed in a way much better hotels for half amount & only 3 stars !
the room was huge
We booked 3 nights and stayed none, because they where renovating the hotel, and the noise was overwhelming! Sure when we looked at the small letters at the bottom of our reservation it mentioned that the hotel was under renovation, we would have hoped that those remarks would have been more clear in advance! bad info concerning renovation so we had to move to another hotel, they let us pay for one night!!! not really fair!
The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is not excellent.
Spacious room, excellent location, cheap price Hotel was under major reconstruction. Many facilities were not available and we had some noise-disturbance on 7th floor. Reception is poorly undermanned: only one girl had to deal with everything, while other staff was trading around idly in the adjacent restaurant
It was ok, would come again.
Your hotel would be hot property after refurbishment that is presently going on. Because it is value for money, nicely located and quite comfortable ... see u after refurbishment ................
i did not like anything there.. everything..da room had a weird smell..da ac wasnt working..da bathroom was too small..pool not maintained and dirty..weird boys were living in da hotel.
The rooms are large and well equipped (bar fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making etc. This hotel is under renovation, the "rooftop terrace restaurant" doesn't exist anymore and there is constant construction noise from 7am to 7pm 7 days a week.
Very near to the sky-train and subway, additionally I could walk to the BNH hospital for my check-up (what was the main reason for my stay) breakfast is not 4 star (esp. this American style coffee)
The location is very central, and the staff is helpful. The breakfast is goo too. I was a bit disappointed about the standard of my room. This should be 3-star, not a 4-star room.
Hotel personnel were excellent for service. They worked hard to make our stay with them pleasant & memorable. The front desk was very good at the English language. They got answers (or already knew them) for all our questions.
Excellent hotel, ideally located in Bangkok. Rooms have all necessary facilities. I had a splendid breakfast, with top-class service from very courteous and helpful staff. Would definitely go there again.
You just can't go wrong. This is our 3rd stay. Straight forward comfort. Hotel few seconds away from Sala Daeng Skytrain. Free internet. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
The cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate no odours. The food is very nice and service is outstanding. The television programs and quality of picture were poor.
The location of the hotel and the price performance is very good. It can be recommended as a city hotel for a short break The rooms were OK but the location is a bit noisy The rooms are a bit small for two people, but still Ok
Close to the road but very quiet and comfortable. Near sky train, shopping areas and the hospital. The restaurant was good. Breakfast was fair. Friendly staff. Wireless internet was fast . Not many choices of TV program. There were noise when the mate was vacuuming the room. Some cleanliness details should pay more attentions.
At first, my husband and I were hesitant to book this hotel because there were no reviews on booking.com, We were thinking, since we will only stay for 1 night, so we might as well give it a shot and booked a superior room. My my my! We're glad we stayed in this hotel. My husband and I were just amazed by the service we got from the hotel staff. They were excellent from checking in to checking out. Ok, nothing so fancy, but this is a first class hotel with all the ammenities that you'll need and comfort. Streen noise? We did not hear any - we got a room facing a courtyard. Convenience & good service? You'll get it here. Highly recommended. Thai people are generally very nice people. Kap kun krap
Location and Value for money are pretty good. The hotel is a few years old, and some things like electrical socket do need repair. Generally though ok.
Junior Suite is big enough and geougeous while room rate is same as Dusit or Pan Pacific's standard room rate. Sun shade in bathroom should be changed or cleaned up. Also in bathroom, water vs. hot water adjustment is not good, so it took some time to fill up bath tab.
There wasc some confusion about my booking because on arrival I was told that Booking.com had cancelled my reservation. They showed me the cancellation email from Booing.com and I had to point out to them that this relates to separate booking by another person. On check-out the staff at first said payment was to be made directly to Booking.com.
The hotel is pretty close to some of the shopping and entertainment centers. Further the place has been maintained well and the service is good.
Effeciency is most top of mind. Booking via internet, rather than directly with the hotel, you would expect less than ideal service but this was not the case. From check in to check out, the service was fluid and in line with the reasonable price of the hotel
its in the center of the city and next to sky train station . Missing Breakfast where other hotels in same price offers complementy breakfast. Hot water and cold water combination requires some adjustments as hot water is so hot that you can make a tea so be very careful while taking shower.
Almosy everything.... It would be great if the package include buffet breakfast
An excellent smaller upper-4-star/lower-5-star hotel with attractively designed foyer and rooms. A very pleasant breakfast area with varied buffet. Convenient: about 10 mins walk from Skytrain and Silom Road with its shops and restaurants. It seems to be a Japanese favourite (Japanese-style breakfasts are available in the buffet). The swimming pool is a bit small (15 metres long) though immaculate and because the hotel is small it was never crowded. It's open till 10pm, which is convenient too.
An excellent International class 4* hotel. High standard.
Overall great value for money. Room size & cleanliness was very good and all staff were very helpful & friendly in a professionally customer service trained manner as opposed to just smiling. For example, the front desk staff really helped me out to book a train ticket to Phuket. I would recommend this hotel and will be back. One small thing related to security of room keys. Having the hotel name and room number on them means if they get misplaced someone could enter the room. Suggest make the key labelling more anonymous!
Staff was very helpful and courteous. The 2 bedroom room was comfortable for our family of 5. Less than 5 minute walk to Silom Road and the Skytrain station.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good. The bioled egg ws hot at 6am but for a 8am breakfast it had gone cold. It was still nice.
Comfortable, spacious rooms with good cooking facilities. Convenient location close to Silom mrt and Saladeng bts stations. Lots of good street food around.
the staff really charming and efficient
The room was much more than I expected. Very cozy. Staff very accommodating.
Access to the city, great adventure activities (flight of the gibbon and Amazing Bangkok cyclist) and excellent train public transport so close.
Location was good for central bangkok The rooms were a lttle run down for the price , lack of english speaking staff was a problem
Hotel has free of charge internet and it was working good enough. No additional joiner fee. The suite was large and a small kitchen will be nice for them who'll be using it. The room served breakfast is always quite the same and doesn't include choices (like spanish brkfst).
Convenience to travel around.
Except for the difficulty in English speaking, I like the staff that is very helpfull and the manager very present. I have been returning in this hotel for many years and the relooking is great, except for the next paragraphe : The main colour of the 5th floor with the same colour in the rooms : to dark. That colour (almost black) reduces the size of the rooms.
Good value, great Location for Silom dentist and pool access BTS convenience
the staff and then room are really nice!!!! i will stay there again for sure!!!!
Very nice modern room, clean, spacious, 2 free bottles of water every day, good price/comfort ratio, silent hotel right in the Silom centre, very close to skyline sometimes a smell in the bathroom
Nice and comfortable rooms. Good location.
close to the MTR station and breakfast is perfect
The staff was very helpfull and very kind. The location is perfect, not too far from the Sky Train. Taxis are waiting night and day in front of the hotel. Breakfast is perfect.
Luxury hotel with nice furniture, great room service, nice pool and so on. Nice staff and welcome drink. The hotel is on a shabby side street, and the building is not too impressive on the outside. The web site promised Internet, but after the new hotel owners took over they stopped this. The staff wanted it back, and they are trying to raise this with the management.
The friendly service Beds were a little to firm for older people
room is big and hotel staff is very friendly and warm hearted location is not very convenient, need walk to the main road to restaurand and coffee shop, but receiption clerk could help you to call taxi.
comfortable room but noisy AC which was difficult to adjust (Temperature and fan speed) Shower / bath was not comfortable. Shower head was much toolow and i am only 1.75 m tall.
I did like the Location, the cleanliness of the room and most good thing was the smile from the Receptionist who was taking care of my reservatio. mh... noting bad!
city area and near bts station front desk staff (hotel check-in counter) very cool no any smile for the guest. even 1st time i checkin, 2nd time when i ask the question.. even belll-boy & restaurent staff service better then them..
Perfect location dowtown shopping and nightlife within walking distance; Good breakfast buffet; Nice and very helpfull staff; Free Wi-Fi within room and hotel.
I have stayed at the FuramaXclusive Sathorn-Silom many times. I keep coming back. It is very accessible from the Sala Daeng metro stop, walking distance to the night market, close to shopping and resteraunts. Great staff and great breakfast buffet. Nothing
I love the best is the destination for sure. Secondly is the comfort and cleanliness. I love the design of the room. Bath tub is available and I liked it. Staff is friendly. Will definitely come back again when I visit Bkk soon. I feel a bit horrified when I opened the bed-side drawer seeing something. Not to mention here.
its a very good location and nice hotel
Location good for city access by skytrain and availability of taxis. Friendly and helpful staff. Food average and on the expensive side.
Staff helpful Good location for the night market We weren't offered a Non Smoking room which we should have been didn't realise there was Non Smoking floors till last day our room had very strong smell of smoke!! Bathroom tiles looked dirty and needed a good scub Rooms in need of a make over
The reception staff has turned over so they do not greet me by name anymore. the wait staff in the restaurant are still there and are some of the nicest people you would like to meet. I do not speak Thai and their English is in the best but not matter: one feels very at home there.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and all the nice staffs. Food was not good.
Everything is just so excellent location , cleanliness , comfortable , nice decoration , quiet and staff were so friendly and everything is so close to the hotel I wish there were more facilities in the hotel also the street to the hotel is too small and no walk side in there so you need to walk a few meters on the street , after all that doesn't change it's an excellent place to stay in Bangkok
after a 12 hour flight from london with our six month old boy this was like an oasis we found the staff and facilities excellent we will be staying here on our return to bangkok
stayed here for 2 nights on the way home from a two week holiday on Koh Samui. location was perfect, being a 5 minute walk from the skytrain.Although only a few minutes walk from Phat Phong, the hotel was quiet.Staff were excellent . Great breakfast.
