We live upstairs in a portion of the building, and we are opening an art gallery in 2016 in the space above this apartment. Building is stand alone with its own parking. We live on site, above the apartment, and will check you in personally and show you around if needed. We also can give you information on the area including local events, great local restaurants, bars and things you can enjoy in Atlanta. We live in the beautiful, historic neighborhood known as Virginia Highland, and we are located on the fabulous Atlanta Beltline. We are minutes away from the neighborhoods of Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, Midtown, and the Virginia Highland shopping district. A Kroger, a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe's grocery store are a 5-10 minute walk away. Two Starbucks are a 5 minute walk in either direction on the Beltline. A movie theater, nail salon, dry cleaners are also a 5 minute walk away. Down the Beltline are several shopping plazas full of restaurants and stores, including the new adaptive reuse Ponce City Market complex which houses numerous upscale retail stores and restaurants. At the end of the Beltline, a two mile walk or bike ride away, there is also the adaptive reuse Krog Street Market that also has local food and retail. Two parks are within 1 mile of the apartment on the Beltline - one is the fabulous Piedmont Park, a classically large and beautiful park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. The other park is the new Old Fourth Ward Park, located on the grounds of the old Ponce de Leon Amusement Park. Both parks feature lovely paths and water features - true oases in the midst of the big city! We live directly on the Atlanta Beltline at the Greenwood Avenue access point. The Beltline is a pedestrian as well as bike friendly path that will eventually run in a circle for 22 miles around Atlanta's central business district. There are several Marta Bus stop close by and a Marta Train station a quick 5 minute drive away. The centralized location also allows for Uber or Lyft to be easily affordable.
